The subject matter of the present invention is, according to a first aspect, a dressing comprising an interface layer, characterised in that said interface layer comprises a weave coated with an elastomeric matrix comprising metformin, the salts and the complexes thereof. The subject matter of the invention is also a dressing comprising metformin, characterised in that the percentage of metformin released after 72 hours is between 40 and 100% of the quantity of metformin inserted in the dressing. Moreover, the subject matter of the invention is a method for producing said dressing as well as the use thereof for healing a wound.

The present invention relates to a topical film-forming composition including, in a pharmaceutically acceptable medium: 5 to 30 wt % of ethyl cellulose; 0.1 to 10 wt % of an auxiliary film-forming agent; 0.1 to 20 wt % of one or more triacids, at least one of which is boric acid; and 60 to 95 wt % of an organic solvent, the percentages being expressed by weight relative to the total weight of the composition. The invention also relates to the use of such a composition in a method for treating herpes, in particular herpes labialis.

Film-forming composition, and use thereof for treating herpes

The present invention relates to a composition in the fluid form intended to form a dressing on the skin. This composition comprises from 6% to 12% by weight of the total weight of the composition of a cellulose derivative, from 5% to 15% by weight of the total weight of the composition of a vegetable oil, and a volatile solvent. The oil/cellulose ratio by weight is between 0.8 and 1.5. This novel dressing base makes it possible to obtain a film on the skin having satisfactory resistances to water and to rubbing actions. The film is flexible and sufficiently comfortable, in particular when the dressing is applied to a fairly extensive area of the skin.
