A data processing system includes: a processor; a network interface; and a memory comprising programming instructions for execution by the processor to: access an electronic workspace; determine a list of changes to the workspace within a period of time; structure a query to a Large Language Model (LLM) or Artificial Intelligence (AI) engine, the query to generate for a user a summary of the changes; obtain a corresponding summary from the LLM or AI engine; and in a user interface, associate a display of the workspace with the corresponding summary to update a user as to a current state of the workspace.

Systems and methods to summarize change in an electronic workspace

The disclosed technology is generally directed to the conversion of text to tables. In one example of the technology, input text that includes at least three rows is received. A plurality of characteristics of the input text is determined. Each characteristic of the plurality of characteristics is associated with a uniformity between the rows of the input text. The plurality of characteristics includes at least one characteristic that is associated with a delimiter count. A determination is made as to whether the input text is suitable for conversion to table based on the plurality of characteristics. Upon determining that the input text is suitable for conversion to a table, a machine learning model is used to convert the input text into a table.

Intelligent table suggestion and conversion for text

Traditional messaging applications (such as email, social networking platforms, text, instant messaging, chat, etc.) are ill-equipped for collaboration. For instance, a sender and recipients corresponding regarding a topic are often required to exchange multiple messages. As a result, determining a consensus regarding the topic or summarizing the collaboration is difficult and cumbersome. Moreover, when links are included in messages, recipients are required to navigate away from the messaging application to view the linked content. A messaging application is provided that may be configured to enable users to dynamically collaborate regarding links or data within a sent message or a receive message. In aspects, a collaborative user experience (UX) is provided, which may be an interface within a message that enables real-time collaboration between a sender and one or more recipients regarding message content—without exchanging additional messages or navigating away from the messaging application.

Converting links and static data into collaborative user experiences

A method for generating a comment capsule for a content segment includes receiving the comment related to the content segment, receiving data associated with the comment, the data including at least one of an identifier for the content segment to which the comment relates, an identifier for a user generating the comment, and a time at which the comment was generated, generating display data for displaying the comment in a comment capsule, and transmitting the display data for displaying the comment capsule in a user interface screen associated with the content segment. The comment capsule is displayed on the user interface screen inline with the content segment, and an appearance of the comment capsule is dynamically changeable based on at least one of a number of comments received for the content segment, a size of the content segment, and a read status of the comment.
