In a process for producing a mixture containing at least 10% carbon monoxide () by cryogenic separation of a feed gas containing at least carbon monoxide, hydrogen and methane, the feed gas () is separated to produce a first gas enriched in hydrogen (), the feed gas is scrubbed in a methane wash column (), a carbon monoxide enriched stream () from the bottom of the methane wash column is separated () to produce a stream further enriched in carbon monoxide (), the stream further enriched in carbon monoxide is separated to form a carbon monoxide rich stream () and a liquid methane stream (), at least part () of the carbon monoxide rich stream is mixed with the first gas enriched in hydrogen to form the mixture containing at least 10% carbon monoxide as a product stream.

Process and installation for providing a fluid mixture containing at least 10% carbon monoxide

The invention relates to a method for purifying a gas flow containing hydrogen (H2) and carbon monoxide (CO), in addition to at least one nitrogen oxide (NOx), as impurities. According to said method, the gaseous flow is brought into contact with at least one catalyst containing copper and/or palladium, at a temperature between 100 DEG C. and 200 DEG C., in such a way as to eliminate at least part of the nitrogen oxide.
