An attachment structure is a structure that attaches an annular brake disk to an attachment object member that is a wheel or a disk body of a railway vehicle. The attachment structure includes a fastening member and an elastic member. The elastic member is disposed between a nut of the fastening member and the brake disk. The elastic member has a member body having a tubular shape, and a flange. The flange is connected to an end part on the nut side among two end parts of the member body. The flange protrudes outward from the member body and contacts an outer peripheral portion of the nut.

Attachment structure of brake disk for railway vehicle, and brake disk unit using same

A brake disk unit includes a rotating member, a brake disk, and a control member. The brake disk includes a disk main body, fins, and convex portions and/or concave portions. The control member includes a support portion and a projecting portion. At least a part of the projecting portion is arranged between fins that are adjacent in the circumferential direction of the brake disk. A gap is formed between the projecting portion and the brake disk. On the surface of the brake disk, the convex portions and/or the concave portions are provided further on the outer side in the radial direction of the brake disk than a minimum opening portion of the gap.

A brake lining includes a mounting plate, sliding members and elastic members. The sliding members are arranged in the transverse direction and the longitudinal direction of the mounting plate on one surface of the mounting plate to form transverse rows and longitudinal rows. The elastic members are provided in correspondence with the sliding members. Each of the elastic members is disposed between the corresponding sliding member and the mounting plate. A gap exists between adjacent transverse rows, and extends over the entire length of the transverse rows. A gap exists between adjacent longitudinal rows, and extends over the entire length of the longitudinal rows. The gap has a width that is smaller than a width of the gap.

There is provided a brake lining for a railway vehicle that can reduce brake squeal in braking. A brake lining for a railway vehicle is used for a disc brake system of a railway vehicle. This brake lining includes a base plate, a sintered friction material, and a friction material supporting mechanism. The friction material supporting mechanism is disposed between the base plate and the sintered friction material and supports the sintered friction material in such a manner that the sintered friction material can move with respect to the base plate. The sintered friction material has a Young's modulus of 35.0 GPa or more.

A brake lining includes friction structures, back boards fastened to respective the friction structures, a base plate supporting the friction structures. Each of the friction structures includes two adjacent friction portions with a groove formed in the front surface in between, and a thin portion with a smaller thickness than thicknesses of the friction portions, the thin portion located in a position corresponding to the groove. Each of the friction structures is supported by the base plate on two support points located in the two friction portions respectively. The thin portion has a constant length, the length being equal to a maximum width of the friction portions and satisfying a condition that L/D is equal to or greater than 1.1, where D denotes the length of the thin portion and L denotes a distance between the two support points located in the friction portions.
