Provided are an inverter device, which is capable of preventing a malfunction of the inverter device while reducing the number of interface wirings, and a method of controlling the inverter device. A communication terminal of a communication circuit having a function of communicating to/from a vehicle, an input terminal for a start signal for starting a control circuit, and a signal for holding the control circuit active even when the start signal is changed after the start of the control circuit are used. A drive prohibition signal issued from the vehicle is received through the same terminal as that for the start signal to unify terminals for the start signal and the drive prohibition signal, to thereby reduce the number of interface wirings.

Inverter device and method of controlling the same

In a rotation angle detection device for detecting a rotation angle and a rotation speed of a motor generator by using a resolver, a resolver detection accuracy is improved by raising the amplitude or frequency of an excitation signal when the motor generator is performing a driving operation. Furthermore, by reducing the amplitude or frequency of the excitation signal when the motor generator is not performing a driving operation, it is possible to suppress the amount of heat generated by the excitation circuit and the resolver, while maintaining a resolver detection accuracy that enables information about the rotation speed of the motor generator to be obtained.

Rotation angle detection device and rotation angle detection method

The present invention has: a pump capacitor (), which has one end thereof connected to the source power supply (B) side via a diode (), and which has the other end thereof connected to two kinds of voltage sources via switches (); and an output capacitor (), which has one end there of connected to a high-potential terminal of a pump capacitor via a diode (), and the other end thereof connected to a source power supply. A filter circuit configured with a resistor () and a capacitor () is provided between the source power supply and the diode ().

Charge pump circuit

A microcomputer that exercises driving control and power-generation control over a motor generator unit and a power-generation maintaining unit that, separately from the power-generation control exercised by the microcomputer, maintains a power-generation process performed by the motor generator unit are provided. While the microcomputer is operating normally, the power-generation maintaining unit allows the microcomputer to exercise the power-generation control. When an abnormality has occurred in the microcomputer, the power-generation maintaining unit acts as a backup or secondary controller to maintain the power-generation process performed by the motor generator unit, in an autonomous manner independently of the microcomputer.

An inflow port and an outflow port of a bypass passage have openings on a front surface near a projecting end and on a bottom surface, respectively, of a bypass passage forming member. A recess portion is disposed on the front surface of the bypass passage forming member on a circuit housing portion side of the inflow port so as to extend at a predetermined depth over an entire region in a longitudinal direction of a short side of a rectangular cross section of the bypass passage forming member.

Flow rate measuring apparatus including a recess for changing air flow direction

A signal processing circuit can obtain a ratiometric output with high precision and high responsiveness in a relatively easy and simple way. A pulse generation circuit generates a pulse signal corresponding to an input signal. An integration part generates an integrated voltage having a time slope proportional to an input voltage with a duration specified by the pulse signal being set as an integration period. A hold part holds and outputs a difference voltage between a start voltage and an end voltage of the integrated voltage in the integration period. The integration period is specified at the timing of the pulse signal output from the pulse output circuit, and a ratiometric output is generated by sample holding the integral signal.

Signal processing circuit

Provided is a heat sensitive flow meter for measuring a flow rate of a fluid passing through a flow passage provided in an internal combustion engine, including: a filter () (constituted of a fixed resister () and a capacitor ()) for inputting a flow rate signal Vin outputted from a flow rate measurement unit installed within the flow passage to subject the flow rate signal to a predetermined filter processing; and a selection unit () (constituted of a fixed resister (), an operational amplifier (), and a diode ()) for comparing the flow rate signal Vin outputted from the flow rate detection unit and a filter signal Vf passed through the filter () to select the signal having a higher voltage as a new flow rate signal.

Heat sensitive flow meter and fuel controller

A thermal type flow rate detector includes: a bridge circuit constructed by upstream side and downstream side temperature detecting elements for detecting a temperature of fluid flowing from the upstream side to the downstream side, and fixed resistors; and a temperature difference controlling circuit for continuously supplying an electric power to upstream side and downstream side heat generating elements so that a temperature difference between the temperature detecting elements becomes a predetermined value. The temperature difference controlling circuit includes: a differential amplifier connected to the bridge circuit; a first constant voltage power supply; a second constant voltage power supply having a lower constant voltage than that of the first constant voltage power supply; and the upstream side and downstream side heat generating elements.

Thermal type flow rate detector

A flow rate-measuring device capable of measuring accurately a flow rate of fluid to be measured containing a drift or eddy as compared with a conventional device is provided. A flow rate-measuring passage for measuring a flow rate of the fluid to be measured is constructed so that its opening area in an upstream region communicating to an inlet gradually decreases from upstream to downstream. A flow rate-detecting element is disposed near an outlet in the flow rate-measuring passage The device is provided with a leak flow passage allowing a part of the fluid which has flown in from the inlet of the flow rate-measuring passage to leak out of the flow rate-measuring passage at a portion upstream from an outlet of the flow rate-measuring passage in particular upstream from a position where the flow rate-detecting element is disposed.

Flow rate-measuring device

A thermal-type flowmeter for detecting a flow rate of a fluid such as intake air flow rate in an internal combustion engine includes a voltage converting circuit for converting a flow-rate indicating voltage signal outputted from a flow-rate detecting sensor element into a voltage of a level falling within a predetermined range, a voltage-to-current converting circuit for converting the voltage into a current of magnitude which is proportional to a value of the flow-rate indicating voltage signal, a current-to-voltage converting circuit for converting the current mentioned above into a voltage signal for analogue-to-digital conversion, and a voltage adjusting circuit for increasing or decreasing the output voltage level of the voltage converting circuit in dependence on the value of the flow-rate indicating voltage signal. The voltage of a current source for the voltage-to-current converting circuit can be regulated so as to conform with the input voltage. The voltage-to-current converting circuit can be realized inexpensively by imparting a gain adjusting function thereto.

Thermal-type flowmeter for detecting flow rate of fluid

A heat sensitive flow meter comprising a power source for changing an offset voltage &Dgr;E at the time of application of a power voltage. The power source is connected to the non-inversion input terminal of an operation amplifier for amplifying a potential difference between a first heat sensitive element for measuring the temperature of a fluid and a second heat sensitive element which is cooled by the fluid. The heat sensitive flow meter can suppress an output error right after the application of a power voltage and shorten a target signal reach time.

Heat sensitive flow meter

Disclosed is a thermal flow meter which is relatively inexpensive and operates with high accuracy and reliability, and a fuel controller using the thermal flow meter adapted for internal combustion engines. The thermal flow meter comprises a sensor unit for detecting a flow rate signal, a reference power supply for generating a reference signal, and a signal switch for selectively outputting the flow rate signal from the sensor unit and the reference signal from the reference power supply. The flow rate signal and the reference signal are alternately output from the same output terminal.

The correcting circuitry (,) includes diodes implemented as discrete parts which need not exhibit identical characteristic.
