An antenna device includes: a patch conductor provided on a substrate; a GND conductor provided in the substrate in such a manner as to face the patch conductor; GND pins that are provided in the substrate and that connect the patch conductor and the GND conductor; and an RF circuit provided on a first face of the patch conductor opposite to a second face of the patch conductor, the second face being attached to the substrate, the RF circuit being provided in such a manner as to be surrounded by the GND pins.

A conductor ground plane provided on a dielectric substrate and provided with a patch antenna and a conductor ground plane provided on the side of a dielectric substrate having a through hole are bonded by solder in a state where the through hole and the patch antenna are arranged to face each other, and a conductor ground plane provided on the back side of the dielectric substrate and a conductor ground plane provided on a dielectric substrate are bonded by solder.

An array antenna device includes a classifying unit that classifies rotating devices into a plurality of groups with different priorities under the condition that the number of rotating devices included in one group is equal to or less than the number of rotating devices that is calculated by a number-of-drivable-devices calculating unit; and a rotation instructing unit that selects groups in descending order of priority from among the plurality of groups and drives, each time one group is selected, all rotating devices included in the group, and the classifying unit performs the classification in such a manner that, among the rotating devices, a rotating device that rotates an element antenna with a higher importance level is classified into a group with a higher priority.

A dielectric substrate is provided between a first waveguide member and a second waveguide member. The second waveguide member includes a plurality of slots for radiating a horizontally polarized wave. The dielectric substrate is provided with a plurality of line-shaped conductors arranged obliquely with respect to the waveguide axial direction and waveguide wall conductors as waveguide wall surfaces, and includes conductor-removed portions that function as vertically-polarized-wave radiation slot parallel to the waveguide axial direction. The waveguide wall conductors are connected by vias.

Included are: a first dielectric substrate provided with a first conductor ground plane on a front or back surface thereof; a plurality of patch antennas formed in the first conductor ground plane, a plurality of conductive members, ends of which connected to the first conductor ground plane to surround the patch antennas individually, and a second conductor ground plane connected to each of the other ends of the conductive members, and parts of the plurality of conductive members penetrate the first dielectric substrate, and the remaining parts of the conductive members function as spacers for providing an air layer between the first dielectric substrate and the second conductor ground plane, and the plurality of conductive members functions as spacers for providing an air layer between the first conductor ground plane and the second conductor ground plane.

An array antenna device, including: a waveguide () having a plurality of radiation units () arranged on one tube wall thereof, in which the waveguide () has a plurality of grooves () arranged on an inner side of a tube wall facing the tube wall, movable short-circuit surfaces () each electrically short-circuited to an inner wall of one of the grooves (), and movable short-circuit surface controlling mechanisms () for changing positions of the movable short-circuit surfaces ().

A part of bent end sections of a slot is configured to overlap with a waveguide inner wall when seen from the normal direction of a narrow wall surface of a waveguide at which the slot is provided. Thus, the conductance of a single slot can be reduced by adjusting the joined amount of a tip section of the slot and the inner wall of the waveguide. As a result, even in the case where the number of slots provided per waveguide is increased while a waveguide width is restricted to be short with respect to a slot length, impedance matching with a waveguide bonding section can be taken.
