A supercharger is provided with: a housing; a rotary shaft that is supported inside the housing to be freely rotatable; a compressor wheel that is provided at one end in an axial direction of the rotary shaft; a cooling water supplying pipe and a cooling water discharging pipe that have a flange part at an end and are connected to the housing; and a lubricant supplying pipe that has a flange part at an end and is connected to the housing. The ends of the cooling water supplying pipe and the cooling water discharging pipe are inserted into a cooling water supplying flow path and a cooling water discharging flow path of the housing, respectively. The end of the lubricant supplying pipe is inserted into a first supplying flow path of the housing. The flange part presses the flange parts in an insertion direction and is fixed to the housing.

Variable geometry turbocharger

A turbocharger includes a shaft, a bearing housing, a turbine housing, and a uniting member. The bearing housing includes a first connection section protruded in a radial direction of the shaft, the first connection section having a first face extended in the radial direction, the turbine housing includes a second connection section protruded in the radial direction of the shaft, the second connection section having a second face extended in the radial direction and being faced to the first face, the uniting member interposes the first connection section and the second connection section by being fitted to the first connection section and the second connection section from the outside, and the first face and/or the second face include a ring-shaped concave portion on an inner side in the radial direction of the shaft with a sealing member arranged at the ring-shaped concave portion.

A variable nozzle device includes: a first plate-shaped member having a first plate portion having an annular shape and being fixed to a bearing housing; a second plate-shaped member having a second plate portion which has an annular shape and which defines a nozzle flow passage between the first plate portion and the second plate portion, the second plate portion having a surface disposed so as to face the first plate portion and another surface disposed so as to face at least partially a scroll flow passage formed inside a turbine housing; at least one nozzle support having, with respect to an axial direction of the nozzle support, an end coupled to the first plate portion and another end coupled to the second plate portion; at least one nozzle vane rotatably supported between the first plate portion and the second plate portion; and a variable nozzle mechanism configured to change a vane angle of the at least one nozzle vane. The second plate portion is formed to have a larger thickness than the first plate portion.

A rotational bodyincludes a rotational shaft, an impeller, and a nut. The impeller includes a hub portionhaving a peripheral surfaceinclined to the axial direction of the rotational shaft and having an insert holein which the rotational shaft is inserted, and a blade portion. At least one of the rotational shaft or the insert hole of the hub portion has an interference fit portionfor fit between the rotational shaft and the impeller, where the outside diameter of the rotational shaft is larger than the inside diameter of the insert hole of the hub portion. The interference fit portion is formed in a region which does not include the largest outside diameter portionB where the hub portion has a largest outside diameter, with the rotational shaft and the impeller mating with each other.

An object is to provide a rotary fluid element and a method of correcting unbalance of a rotary fluid element, whereby unbalance of the rotary fluid element can be corrected multiple times in a necessary and sufficient amount without sacrificing strength of blades. A rotary fluid element includes: a plurality of blades extending in a centrifugal direction on an outer peripheral surface of a boss portion and disposed at intervals in a circumferential direction; and a cut-remove portion for reducing unbalance disposed in a blade gap between the blades adjacent in the circumferential direction. The cut-remove portion includes a first cut-remove portion which is cut and removed on a radially-outer rim portion between the blades, and an additional cut-remove portion which is cut and removed on a radially-inner portion disposed inside the first cut-remove portion with respect to a radial direction.

Provided is a turbine housing that comprises: a scroll unit; a flat annular cover () that is disposed in a state where one end face abuts a flanged portion () of the scroll unit and that is welded to the flanged portion (); an annular seal portion () that extends from a basal end () welded to the inner circumferential side of the other end face of the annular cover () to the distal end () disposed further to the exterior than the basal end () in the radial direction and that comprises a member that can be elastically deformed; and a plurality of threaded bushings () that are each welded in a plurality of locations on the outer circumferential side of the other end face of the annular cover () and that have fastening holes () for fastening bolts () inserted along the direction of the axis of rotation. A sealing region that extends around the entire circumference of the axis of rotation is formed by elastically deforming the annular seal portion () by the distal end () being in contact with the outer circumferential face () of a bearing housing () by way of the bearing housing () being pressed toward the annular cover () via a seat face of a washer ().
