An implement has an implement frame, a wheel for supporting the implement frame on soil in a direction of travel, a first basket coupled to the implement frame, and a second basket coupled to the implement frame. The first basket works the soil such that any convolutions in the soil are reoriented to be substantially perpendicular to the direction of travel of the implement. The second basket is positioned rearward of the first basket, and works the soil such that the convolutions in the soil that are substantially perpendicular to the direction of travel of the implement are flattened.

A tillage implement having a frame member extending in a fore-aft direction of the implement, the frame member pivotally connected in a foldable configuration, the frame member comprising a main frame section; a first wing section and a second wing section, each being pivotally connected at opposing lateral sides of the main frame section in the fore-aft direction; and a middle breaker including a first disc coupled to the main frame section, the first disc laterally offset from a centerline of the middle breaker extending in the fore-aft direction, the first disc having a concave side facing towards the centerline, and a second disc coupled to the main frame section, laterally offset from the centerline of the middle breaker, the second disc having a concave side facing towards the centerline.

Middle breaker for a tillage implement

A pivot limiting device for an agricultural implement is disclosed. The agricultural implement includes a first frame section pivotally coupled to second frame section at a pivot location. The device includes a compression structure having a spring compressed to a preset load. The compression structure is coupled to the first frame section. A plunger includes a first portion positioned adjacent the second frame section and a second portion positioned adjacent the compression structure to move relative thereto between a first position placing no additional compression on the spring when the second frame section pivots in a first direction and contacts the plunger with a first force less than or equal to the preset load, and a second position further compressing the spring when the second frame section pivots in the first direction and contacts the plunger with a second force greater than the preset load.
