A mass ratio [(A)/(B)] of the component (A) to the component (B) is 100 or more, and a mass ratio [(A)/(C)] of the component (A) to the component (C) is 1 or more and 900 or less.

Provided is a cationic group-containing cellulose which, when incorporated in a hair wash composition, is able to give an excellent smootheness feeling and its sustained feeling in rinsing and give a good coat feeling, and which, when incorporated in a skin cleanser composition, is able to give an excellent moist feeling to the skin after washing and drying, and also provided are a surfactant composition, a hair wash composition, a skin cleanser composition, a hair conditioner composition and a hair treatment composition containing the cellulose ether. [1] A cationic group-containing cellulose ether, which has a main chain derived from an anhydroglucose, and in which the degree of substitution with a cationized oxyalkylene group per the anhydroglucose unit is from 0.01 to 1.0, the degree of substitution with a glycerol group is from 0.5 to 5.0, and the degree of substitution with a group that contains a branched hydrocarbon group having from 8 to 18 carbon atoms and has a specific structure is from 0.001 to 0.2; [2] a surfactant composition containing the cationic group-containing cellulose ether, a surfactant and water; [3] a hair wash composition, a skin cleanser composition, a hair conditioner composition and a hair treatment composition containing the cationic group-containing cellulose ether, a surfactant and water.

Cationic group-containing cellulose ether

A cationized glycerolated cellulose which, when blended in a hair cosmetic, is able to impart excellent smoothness and its long-lasting feeling at the time of rinsing and to impart a moist feeling and softness to the hair after drying and, when blended in a skin cleanser, is able to impart an excellent moisturizing feeling after drying; a surfactant composition containing the same; and a hair cosmetic composition and a skin cleanser composition each containing the surfactant composition, are provided. [1] A cationized glycerolated cellulose having a specified structure, which has a main chain derived from an anhydroglucose, wherein a degree of substitution of a cationized alkylene oxy group per the anhydroglucose unit is from 0.01 to 0.18, and a degree of substitution of a glycerol group per the anhydroglucose unit is from 0.5. to 5.0; [2] a surfactant composition containing the above-described cationized glycerolated cellulose, a surfactant, and water; [3] a use of the above-described surfactant composition as a hair cosmetic composition and a skin cleanser composition; and [4] a hair cosmetic composition and a skin cleanser composition each containing the above-described cationized glycerolated cellulose, a surfactant, and water, are disclosed.

Provided is a cationic group-containing cellulose ether which, when incorporated in a hair wash, is able to give an excellent smoothness property and its sustained feeling, finger combability and coated feeling in rinsing, and which, when incorporated in a skin cleanser, is able to give an excellent moist feeling to the skin after washing, and also provided are a surfactant composition, a hair wash composition, a skin cleanser composition, a hair conditioner composition and a hair treatment composition containing the cationic group-containing cellulose ether.

The present invention relates to a hair cosmetic capable of giving good finger combability and manageability with no oily feeling to the hair treated therewith and dried, and to a method for producing the hair cosmetic. The hair cosmetic contains a cationized hydroxypropyl cellulose (A), an oil (B) of which the amount of dissolution in 100 g of water at 20&#xb0; C. is from 0 to 1 g, and a surfactant (C), wherein the cationized hydroxypropyl cellulose (A) has an anhydroglucose-derived main chain and has a degree of substitution with cationized ethyleneoxy group of from 0.01 to 2.9 and a degree of substitution with propyleneoxy group of from 0.1 to 4.0, and the production method is for producing the hair cosmetic.

Hair cosmetic

The present invention relates to a hair treatment composition capable of imparting good finger combability, body and manageability to the hair treated therewith and dried, and to a method for producing the composition. The hair treatment composition contains a cationized hydroxypropyl cellulose (A) and at least one treating agent (B) selected from a hair-coloring dye, an oxidizing agent, an alkali agent and a keratin-reducing agent.
