In a chain belt having: plurality of link plates each provided with a pin hole; plurality of connecting pins to connect a part of the plurality of link plates in an endless annular form by being inserted into the pin holes across the part of the plurality of link plates in a state where the part of the plurality of link plates are overlapped; and a retainer pin welded to an end portion of the connecting pin and engaged with the link plate to prevent the link plate from coming off the connecting pin, the retainer pin is disposed in a posture in which an outer circumferential surface is in contact with an outer circumferential surface of the connecting pin, and a plurality of points on the outer circumferential surface of the retainer pin separated from each other in the circumferential direction are welded to the connecting pin.

Chain belt and method of manufacturing the same

A variable transmission system for a vehicle is configured such that, when a magnitude of a hydraulic pressure detected by an hydraulic pressure sensor is a first predetermined value or more, a chord portion of a chain belt is pressed such that a raceway length of the chain belt is extended by at least a circumferential extension amount of the chain belt at the time when the magnitude of the hydraulic pressure is the first predetermined value. Hereby, it is possible to restrain the chain belt from coming off from a sheave even in a low vehicle speed range, at a low cost, without causing a fuel efficiency decrease and a driving torque decrease of the vehicle.

Variable transmission system for vehicle

A belt-driven continuously variable transmission in which a collision noise of a broken chain belt can be suppressed is provided. In the transmission, a chain belt is applied to belt grooves of pulleys to transmit power therebetween, and a speed ratio is varied by changing a width of the belt groove of at least one of pulleys. The transmission comprises: a guiderail that is contacted to the chain belt to suppress vibrations in the chain belt and that is allowed to rotate with a change in an inclination of the chain belt; and a pushing mechanism that applies a load to the guiderail to rotate the guiderail to alter an inclination of the chain belt in a direction to increase the speed ratio when the chain belt is broken.

Belt-driven continuously variable transmission

A lubrication device for a belt-driven continuously variable transmission is provided. The lubrication device comprises a stabilizerbrought into contact to a straight portion of a beltbetween the pulleys to suppress vibrations of the belt. The stabilizercomprises openingsandoriented to each contact point between a sheaveorand the beltto apply oil thereto, while being allowed to pivot and twist in response to a change in posture of the beltresulting from a speed change operation to keep the opening oriented to the contact point.
