A probe pin includes a coil spring extending and contracting along a center line, a first contact disposed on one side of the center line and having a rectangular cross section, and a second contact disposed on the other side of the center line and having a rectangular cross section. The first contact and the second contact are supported so as to be reciprocable via the spring coil and are electrically connected to each other. In particular, a contact surface of at least one of the first contact and the second contact is an inclined surface inclined so as to descend along a thickness direction.

An electrical connector includes a first insertion hole and a second insertion hole made on the same straight line in both side faces facing each other in a base, a support contact piece of a first connecting terminal and a second connecting terminal laterally inserted into the first insertion hole and the second insertion hole respectively, and an operation lever rotatably attached to a side face on one side of the base while a front end portion of an FPC is inserted from an opening formed in a side face on the other side of the base. An inspection hole communicated with the first insertion hole and the second insertion hole is made in a bottom surface of the base such that a front end portion of the inserted first connecting terminal and a latch portion of the inserted second connecting terminal can visually be observed.

Connector for flexible printed circuit board

An electrical connector includes a socket and a plug. In the socket, plural first connectors are provided in parallel, and substantially U-shaped press-fitting portions are assembled so as to cross over opening edge portions of a socket body. In the plug, plural second connectors are provided in parallel, and substantially U-shaped press-fitting portions are assembled so as to cross over opening edge portions of a plug body. The plug body has a planar shape which can be fitted in the opening edge portions of the socket body. Particularly, a free end portion of the press-fitting portion of the second connector located in the opening edge portion of the plug body is engaged with a position regulating recess formed in a bottom surface of the plug body.

A connector includes a socket in which a plurality of first splices are provided in parallel in an opening edge portion and a plug which has a flat shape. The plug is capable of being fitted in the opening edge portion of the socket. The plug includes a plurality of second splices press-fitted in press-in grooves provided in parallel at positions corresponding to the first splices in the plug. Each of the first splices is fitted and abuts on an inside surface of one of the press-in grooves. Each of the first splices is brought into elastic contact wit one of the second splices to establish electrical connection.

A connector includes a socket in which first contacts are provided parallel to an opening edge portion and a plug which has a flat shape capable of fitting in the opening edge portion of the socket. The plug includes second contacts provided parallel to positions corresponding to the first contacts in the plug. A guide portion is provided in either the opening edge portion of the socket or an outer peripheral edge portion of the plug.
