A hydraulic device wherein an orifice is provided upstream of the discharge valve in an oil passage from the electric pump, a drain oil passage from the second hydraulic servo communicates between the orifice and the discharge valve in the oil passage from the electric pump, and an oil pressure in the oil passage upstream of the orifice is maintained at a predetermined pressure higher than the set pressure.

A control device for an automatic transmission that outputs a command signal to an actuator to control the automatic transmission. Control device for automatic transmission

In a hydraulic control device, when a solenoid pressure from a linear solenoid valve is not supplied to a brake, which is normally not engaged at the same time as a brake, not to engage the brake, a switching valve is supplied with a line pressure as a signal pressure for establishing a blocked/discharge state in which supply of the solenoid pressure to the brake is blocked and a hydraulic pressure can be discharged from the brake. When the solenoid pressure is supplied to the brake to engage the brake, the switching valve is supplied with a modulator pressure, which is lower than the line pressure, as a signal pressure for establishing a communicated state in which the solenoid pressure can be supplied to the brake.

A power transmission configured with a mechanical pump that generates and deliver a fluid pressure to a clutch. An electromagnetic pump generates and delivers a fluid pressure to the clutch, and an accumulator connects the clutch and the electromagnetic pump, and accumulates fluid pressure acting there between. A switching valve selectively switches between connecting the mechanical pump side and the clutch in a fluid communicating manner and connecting the electromagnetic pump and the clutch in a fluid communicating manner. A valve drive portion that drives the switching valve so as to connect the mechanical pump side and the clutch when the mechanical pump is driving, and drives the switching valve so as to connect the electromagnetic pump and the clutch when the electromagnetic pump is driving in place of the mechanical pump.

A hydraulic circuit for supplying hydraulic pressure to frictional engagement elements in an automatic transmission including an oil passage connecting an output port through which a drive pressure is output, and a second signal pressure port, of a second clutch application relay valve, and an oil passage connecting an output port through which a modulator pressure is output and the second signal pressure port, are formed in a valve body and arranged such that it is possible to open the oil passage, as well as close the oil passage, with an oil passage closing member.
