In a compression unit, an upper compression unit suction tube is connected to an upper suction hole of an upper cylinder, and a lower compression unit suction tube is connected to a lower suction hole of a lower cylinder. In an accumulator shell of an accumulator vessel, an accumulator suction tube, an upper gas-liquid separation tube, and a lower gas-liquid separation tube penetrate a side wall of the accumulator shell, and are fixed by welding to a first through hole, a second through hole, and a third through hole of the accumulator shell, respectively. The upper gas-liquid separation tube is connected to the upper compression unit suction tube via an upper connecting tube outside the accumulator shell. The lower gas-liquid separation tube is connected to the lower compression unit suction tube via a lower connecting tube outside the accumulator shell.

Hermetic compressor

The compressor includes a rotor that applies rotational power to a compressor unit, wherein the rotor includes a rotor core and an upper rotor-end plate, the rotor core has a plurality of through-holes through which a refrigerant passes, the upper rotor-end plate covers the upper rotor-end face of the rotor core, where one end of each of the plurality of through-holes is formed, the upper rotor-end plate has a plurality of upper openings that allow communication of the plurality of through-holes with an internal space in a compressor container, the plurality of upper openings are adjacent to the plurality of through-holes in the upper rotor-end face, and a plurality of upper inner peripheral-side adjacent areas, which are on the inner peripheral-side closer to a rotation axis than the plurality of through-holes, are exposed to the internal space.

Compressor

In a vertical cylindrical hermetically sealed container, a rotary compressor includes a motor unit and a compression unit below the motor unit. The compression unit includes a shaft having an eccentric portion, a piston shaped to fit into the eccentric portion, a flat plate-shaped vane pressed against an outer circumferential surface of the piston, and a cylinder that accommodates the piston and the vane and forms a suction chamber and a compression chamber. The rotary compressor stores, in the hermetically sealed container, lubricating oil of which amount causes immersion of a part of the compression unit. The rotary compressor has a hollow portion on a lower end side of the shaft, and has an oil supply diagonal hole that is inclined with respect to a rotation axis of the shaft and causes the hollow portion and an upper end of the eccentric portion to communicate with each other.

Rotary compressor having reduced pressure loss of refrigerant flow

In a rotary compressor, a lower end plate cover is formed in a shape of a flat plate, and has a through hole that is provided to penetrate in the thickness direction of the lower end plate cover and that communicates with a communication groove. When a sectional area of the communication groove which passes through a center line of a rotation shaft, and is on a section along the rotation shaft direction is S1 [mm], an area in which the through hole and the communication groove overlap each other on a plane orthogonal to the rotation shaft is S2 [mm], and an excluding capacity of a lower cylinder chamber is V [cc], each of 0.10&#x2264;(S2/V)&#x2264;0.50, and 1.0&#x2264;(S2/S1)&#x2264;7.0 is satisfied.

A rotary compressor including a cylindrical compressor housing provided with an inlet unit of a refrigerant and a discharging unit of the refrigerant, a compressing unit which is disposed inside the compressor housing and includes a cylinder and a piston for compressing the refrigerant sucked in from the inlet portion, a rotation shaft provided with the piston of the compressing unit, and a motor which includes a cylindrical stator and a rotor that is provided on another end side of the rotation shaft and that rotates inside the stator, and which drives the compressing unit via the rotation shaft, in which an outer circumferential portion of the stator includes a concave portion and is fixed to an inner circumferential portion of the compressor housing in a transition fit state, and in which the compressor housing includes a weld portion which is joined to the concave portion of the stator.

A rotary compressor includes a sealed longitudinal compressor housing which is provided with a discharge portion of a refrigerant at an upper portion thereof, is provided with an inlet portion of a refrigerant at a lower portion thereof, and in which lubricant oil is stored; a compressing unit which is disposed in the compressor housing, compresses a refrigerant sucked from the inlet portion and discharges the refrigerant from the discharge portion; a motor which is disposed in the compressor housing and drives the compressing unit via a rotation shaft; and an accumulator which is attached to a side portion of the compressor housing and is connected to the inlet portion of the refrigerant. A compressor includes: an annular cylinder; a rotation shaft which is rotated by the motor; a piston which revolves along an inner circumferential surface of the cylinder, and forms a cylinder chamber on the inside of the cylinder; a vane which protrudes to the inside of the cylinder chamber from a vane groove provided in the cylinder, and divides the cylinder chamber into an inlet chamber and a compression chamber by abutting against the piston; and an injection hole which injects a liquid refrigerant to the inside of the compression chamber. The center of the injection hole is disposed to be within a fan-like range of which a center angle is equal to or less than 40&#xb0; toward a side opposite to a connection position between the compressor housing and the inlet unit from a center line of the vane groove in the circumferential direction of the rotation shaft.

In a rotary compressor, a lower end plate cover is formed in a flat plate shape, a lower discharge chamber concave portion is formed in a lower end plate to overlap a lower discharge hole side of a lower discharge valve accommodation concave portion, and the lower discharge chamber concave portion is formed in a fan-like range between a diametrical line passing through a center of a sub-bearing unit and a midpoint of a line segment connecting a center of the lower discharge hole and a center of a lower rivet to each other and a diametrical line opened by a pitch angle 90&#xb0; in a direction of the lower discharge hole about the center of the sub-bearing unit. At least a portion of a refrigerant path hole overlaps the lower discharge chamber concave portion and is disposed at a position communicating with the lower discharge chamber concave portion.

In a rotary compressor, a protruding portion which protrudes downward from a bottom end of a rotation shaft and in which an outer diameter is smaller than an outer diameter of a sub-bearing unit is formed on the sub-bearing unit which is provided on a lower end plate, a step portion is formed between the protruding portion and the sub-bearing unit, and a center hole of a lower end plate cover is caused to mate with the protruding portion and is caused to come into close contact with the step portion.

A rotary compressor including an attachment leg which is fixed to a bottom portion of a compressor housing and includes three locking holes which are locking holes to which three corresponding elastic supporting members, which support the compressor housing, are locked and which are disposed to be separated from each other in a circumferential direction on an outside in a radial direction of the compressor housing, in which, of the three locking holes, a distance of a first locking hole which is disposed closest to an accumulator from a housing center, is greater than a distance of each of the other two locking holes from the housing center.

A rotary compressor includes: a vertically-positioned airtight compressor housing, in an upper section of which a discharge unit of a refrigerant is provided and in a lower section of which an inlet unit of the refrigerant is provided and lubricant oil is stored; and a lubricating mechanism supplying lubricant oil stored in the lower section of the compressor housing to a sliding portion of a compressing unit through a vertical lubricating hole and a horizontal lubricating hole of a rotation shaft. The horizontal lubricating hole of the lubricating mechanism is formed between the same direction as an eccentric direction of an eccentric portion provided on the rotation shaft and causes an annular piston of the compressing unit making an orbital motion in a cylinder and a 80&#xb0; phase shifted direction from the same direction as the eccentric direction in a direction opposite to a rotation direction of the rotation shaft.

Lubrication of a rotary compressor

On a plane orthogonal to the rotation shaft, an upper muffler chamber has a plurality of flared portions that are flared from a center of a rotation shaft toward between penetrating bolts and a plurality of small-diameter portions that connect between the flared portions, are apart from penetrating bolts, and are formed on a center side of the rotation shaft from the penetrating bolts. A muffler outlet is provided in each flared portion. A second outlet and a refrigerant path hole of an upper end plate are positioned on an inside of one of a plurality of flared portions, and an opening area of the muffler outlet of one flared portion is greater than an opening area of the muffler outlet of each of the other flared portions.

A rotor includes a rotor laminated steel plate (), rotor end plates () arranged on both end surfaces of the rotor laminated steel plate (), and balance weights () provided on the outer surfaces of the rotor end plates (), respectively. The rotor laminated steel plate () and the rotor end plates () are provided with at least three axial through holes () that are equally spaced apart in the circumferential direction. The rotor laminated steel plate () and the rotor end plates () are fixed by three rivets () passing through the axial through holes (), respectively. The balance weight () is fixed to the rotor end plate () by the two rivets () of the three rivets.

A rotary compressor includes an oiling mechanism that contains a vertical fitting hole formed on a countershaft portion in the lower part of the rotating shaft, and an oil pipe having an inlet port at the lower end and an opening at the upper end. The upper part of the oil pipe is press-fitted into the vertical fitting hole. The oiling mechanism further contains a pump vane having a vane portion and a base portion. The vane portion is twisting processed and inserted into the vertical oil hole to provide a space. The base portion is fixed into the lower part of the oil pipe that has an inner diameter smaller than the width thereof.
