A fan casing includes: an air duct communicating with an air inlet and outlet; a frame body forming an outer peripheral surface of the air duct; a hub portion forming an inner peripheral surface of the air duct on the outlet side; and a stator blade portion provided in the air duct, the stator blade portion coupling the frame body to the hub portion. The hub portion includes a cylindrical-shaped cylindrical portion and a tapered portion provided next to the cylindrical portion and provided in such a manner as to increase the width of the air duct toward the outlet. The stator blade portion couples the cylindrical portion to the frame body.

Fan casing and fan apparatus

An axial flow fan includes: an impeller, a hub of which is attached to a rotation shaft of a rotation driving device; and a venturi casing that surrounds an outer circumference in a radial direction of the impeller and includes a suction port and a discharge port facing each other in an axial direction of the rotation shaft. A positive pressure surface of a plurality of blades integrally attached to the hub includes a plurality of step portions that is curved so as to comply with a curved shape of a front edge portion in a rotation direction of the blades.

Axial flow fan

An axial flow fan includes a first lead wire engaging portion configured to be engaged with a plurality of lead wires such that the lead wires are pulled out therefrom into an outer space defined between a first flange and a second flange of a fan housing, a second lead wire engaging portion configured to be engaged with the plurality of lead wires such that the lead wires are pulled out toward the other side in the axial direction where the second flange is positioned, and a third lead wire engaging portion configured to be engaged with the plurality of lead wires such that the lead wires are pulled out in the axial direction toward one side where the first flange is positioned. The third lead wire engaging portion is formed in the first flange at a given distance from the first lead wire engaging portion.

Cooling fan

Four tapered portions are formed on an end portion of an inner wall surface of an air channel at four locations corresponding to four corners of the profile of a surface of a housing where a suction port is formed. The four tapered portions are each inclined outwardly in a radial direction of a rotary shaft from a discharge port side toward the suction port side and extending in a rotational direction of an impeller. The tapered portions each include a main portion which is shaped such that an angle formed between the main portion and an axis of the rotary shaft gradually becomes smaller from one end of the main portion located rearward as viewed in the rotational direction of the impeller toward the other end of the main portion located forward as viewed in the rotational direction of the impeller.

Fan with reduced noise

An axial flow fan provided herein allows for a wide range of selection for placement of the fan and wiring of the lead wires. The axial flow fan includes a first lead wire engaging portionconfigured to be engaged with a plurality of lead wiressuch that the lead wires are pulled out therefrom into an outer space OS defined between a first flangeand a second flangeof a fan housing, a second lead wire engaging portionconfigured to be engaged with the plurality of lead wiressuch that the lead wires, which have been engaged with the first lead wire engaging portionand pulled out therefrom into the outer space OS, are then pulled out toward the other side in the axial direction where the second flangeis positioned, and a third lead wire engaging portionconfigured to be engaged with the plurality of lead wiressuch that the lead wires, which have been engaged with the first lead wire engaging portionand pulled out therefrom into the outer space OS, are then pulled out in the axial direction toward one side where the first flangeis positioned.
