A vehicle sensor attaching structure in which a plurality of kinds of external sensors for detecting an external condition of a vehicle is attached on a roof of the vehicle, the vehicle sensor attaching structure including: a common sensor unit that is fixed to the roof of the vehicle and to which at least one kind of the external sensor is attached; and an option sensor unit that is attachable to the common sensor unit in at least two directions of a vehicle left side, a vehicle right side, a vehicle upper side, a vehicle front side, and a vehicle rear side, that is detachably attached to the common sensor unit, and to which at least one kind of the external sensor is attached.

Vehicle sensor attaching structure

A vehicle sensor mounting structure includes a first sensor kit and a second sensor kit, each having a sensor group including a plurality of sensors and a bracket on an upper surface of which the sensor group is installed, a first fitting portion which is provided on a front side of the roof in a vehicle front-rear direction and into which a first bracket is fitted such that the upper surface is exposed, and a second fitting portion which is provided on a rear side of the roof in the vehicle front-rear direction so as to face the first fitting portion in the vehicle front-rear direction and into which a second bracket is fitted such that the upper surface is exposed. The plurality of sensors of each sensor group includes at least two kinds of sensors selected from among a camera, a millimeter wave radar, and a LiDAR sensor.

Vehicle sensor mounting structure and vehicle sensor bracket set

A vehicular sensor mounting structure for a sensor that is mounted on a roof of a vehicle to detect an environment outside the vehicle is equipped with a bracket attached to the roof to support the sensor in a swingable manner, and a cover member having a sensor opening portion that opens toward an outer periphery of the vehicle, and provided on the roof in such a manner as to cover the sensor from above. The cover member has a wire harness cover portion covering, from above, a wire harness that passes through the roof from below, that protrudes into the cover member, and that is connected to the sensor.

Sensor mount structure

A sensor mount structure including a base member, a sensor device, and a support member. The base member is attached to a vehicle upper side of an inner surface of a front windshield glass. The sensor device includes a device body to which a first sensor and a second sensor that detect surroundings information for a vehicle are attached, and a common electronic board to which both the first sensor and the second sensor are electrically connected. The support member together with the device body is fastened to the base member and supports an interior mirror.

A sensor mount structure, including: a sensor device that detects information regarding at least a region ahead of a vehicle; a display device that displays images of at least a region behind the vehicle; a support member that covers a part of the sensor device from below and that is attached to a base member provided at an inner surface of a front windshield glass; an arm member that has an upper end portion attached to the support member and a lower end portion attached to a length direction center portion of the display device; and a cover member, a minimum distance between the cover member and an upper peripheral edge at a length direction end portion of the display device being longer than a minimum distance between the cover member and an upper peripheral edge at the length direction center portion of the display device.

In a collision detection device for a vehicle, the bumper absorber includes general parts and holding parts alternately in a lengthwise direction of the groove portion. In each of the general parts, a predetermined clearance is formed between an inner wall surface of the groove portion on at least one side of vehicle up and down sides, and the detection tube member. Each of the holding parts is in contact with a surface of the detection tube member on at least one side of vehicle up and down sides, and vehicle front and rear sides to hold the detection tube member. A holding part ratio, which is a ratio of a part of the detection tube member held by the holding parts to a unit length of the detection tube member, is set to be smaller than a predetermined value.

Collision detection device for vehicle

There is provided a sensor mounting structure, the structure including (i) a sensor device that detects at least information in front of a vehicle, (ii) a support member that houses part of the sensor device and is attached to a base member provided on an inner surface of a front windshield glass, and (iii) a display device that displays at least an image of what is in back of the vehicle, the display device being attached such that its angle is adjustable, to a lower end portion of an arm member having upper end portion that is attached to the support member. A space is formed between an outer surface of the part of the sensor device housed in the support member and an inner surface of the support member.

Sensor mounting structure

At a front bumper, a supporting member is mounted to a bent portion of a bumper RF, and the supporting member extends-out toward a vehicle transverse direction outer side from the bumper RF. Therefore, when a pressure tube is pressed at a time of a collision of a collision body with a vehicle corner portion, reaction force is applied from the supporting member to the pressure tube, and the pressure tube deforms. Due thereto, a collision with a collision body can be detected. Here, when load of a predetermined value or greater is inputted to the supporting member from a rear side, the supporting member separates from the bumper RF. Therefore, in a damage test, when the supporting member interferes with a sub-radiator that is at a vehicle rear side of the supporting member, the supporting member can be made to separate from the bumper RF.

Vehicle front portion structure equipped with pedestrian collision detecting sensor

A pedestrian protection airbag device includes an airbag case, a pair of inflators and an airbag. The airbag case is disposed at a lower face side of a hood rear end portion with a length direction thereof extending along a vehicle width direction. A vehicle width direction middle region of the airbag case, when viewed in a vertical cross-section extending in a vehicle front-and-rear direction, has a cross-sectional height in a vehicle up-and-down direction smaller than a cross-sectional height in the vehicle up-and-down direction of a general portion of the airbag case located at outer ends in the vehicle width direction of the middle region. The inflators are accommodated at both of vehicle width direction ends of the middle region. The airbag in the airbag case inflates from pressure of gas generated by the inflators, and deploys rearward through a gap between the hood rear end portion and a windshield.

Pedestrian protection airbag device

At a front bumper, supporting members that are bodies separate from a bumper RF are assembled to vehicle transverse direction both end portions of the bumper RF, and the supporting members extend from vehicle transverse direction both ends of the bumper RF toward vehicle transverse direction outer sides and a vehicle rear side. Further, the supporting members are disposed adjacent to vehicle rear sides of absorber side portions and pressure tube side portions.

A vehicle bumper structure including: bumper reinforcement at a rear of a bumper cover; an absorber in front of the bumper reinforcement; and a pedestrian collision detection sensor including a pressure tube between the bumper reinforcement and the absorber, wherein a position of a width direction outer end of the bumper reinforcement is set between a first normal line and a second normal line, where a front-rear reference line passes through a width direction outer end of a front hood or apron upper member and extends along a front-rear direction, the first normal line passes through an intersection point between the front-rear reference line and the bumper cover and extends along the direction of a normal line with respect to the width direction outer end of the bumper reinforcement, and the second normal line is offset by 100 mm to a width direction inner side of the first normal line.
