The engine control apparatus includes: the stop switch body; the stop switch knobthat allows the engine to stop or to be in an idling state; the lock plate; the transponderthat can transmit a predetermined ID code; and the control sectionthat receives the ID code transmitted from the transponderand that controls the engine operation based on the ID code; wherein the engine control apparatus is constituted such that, when the lock plateis disengaged from the stop switch knob, the stop switch bodyis activated to allow the engine to stop or to be in an idling state; and the attachmentincorporating the transponderis provided separately from the lock plateand is detachably attached to the lock plate

Engine control apparatus

A throttle lever device mounted in the vicinity of a grip at one end of a handlebar of a water jet bike or a snowmobile. The throttle lever device has an operation lever with a front end portion that is movable vertically relative to a bracket . The operation lever actuates a throttle cable by virtue of gripping operations.
