Electrical connector

A connector includes: a terminal, and a housing holding the terminal, the connector being mounted on a substrate with a liquid potting agent applied thereto, wherein: the housing includes a mating recess mating with a counterpart connector, along with a bottom plate part in which a terminal press-in hole with the terminal pressed therein is formed, the terminal includes a contact part contacting a counterpart terminal of the counterpart connector in the mating recess, a substrate connection part which is exposed below the bottom plate part so as to be connected to the substrate, and a holding part housed and held in the terminal press-in hole, and this holding part includes a terminal side first seal part and a terminal side second seal part which respectively configure a first seal part and a second seal part by adhering to the side faces of the terminal press-in hole.

Electric connector

A connector is provided which has terminals able to contact the opposing terminals connected to the terminal ends of electrical wires, and a housing accommodating the mounted terminals. The housing has a terminal accommodating recessed portion in the bottom end portion of the housing. The terminal accommodating recessed portion receives the inserted opposing terminals, and a head portion for sealing the upper end of the terminal accommodating recessed portion. The head portion includes a ceiling panel portion and side panel portions. Each side panel portion includes a water discharging hole communicating with the interior of the terminal accommodating recessed portion and outside of the housing, and a waterproofing rib formed around the water discharging hole and protruding from the outer surface of the side panel portion.

A door engagement device for an elevator according to the present invention is configured in such a manner that biasing-force applying/changing means applies a turning preventing force for preventing turning of a lever main body and changes a direction of a biasing force to a direction of an anti-turning preventing force to the lever main body by action of turning guiding means with movement of a car door. Accordingly, an engagement-mechanism driving device can be driven with a reduced space at low cost.

A door device for an elevator includes an elevator door, first and second door drive devices having first and second rotating shafts, respectively, a power transmission mechanism that moves the elevator door according to rotation of the first and second rotating shafts, and a door control device that controls movement of the elevator door. The door control device includes a first processing device that performs first arithmetic processing for controlling the first door drive device, a second processing device that performs second arithmetic processing for controlling the second door drive device, and an information transmitting unit for information transmission between the first and second processing devices.

Door device for an elevator

An electrical connector is provided for terminating a flat electrical circuit. The connector includes a dielectric housing having an opening at a front portion thereof for receiving an end of the flat circuit, along with a rear terminating portion. A plurality of terminals are mounted on the housing in a side-by-side array spaced along the opening. An actuator is movably mounted relative to the housing for movement between an open position allowing the end of the flat circuit to be inserted into the opening and a closed position to relatively bias the flat circuit against the terminals. The actuator has a dust cover portion for covering the rear terminating portion of the housing when the actuator is in its closed position.

An electrical connector includes an insulating housing defining a longitudinal axis with two rows of terminal-receiving passages generally on opposite sides of the axis. The passages are alternatingly staggered along the axis, with adjacent sides of the passages in the two rows thereof overlapping along the axis. A plurality of conductive terminals are received in the passages. Each terminal includes a relatively wide body portion with a relatively narrow contact portion projecting from one side of the body portion. The terminals are disposed in the passages in alternating orientations longitudinally of the axis, whereby the contact portions of the terminals are disposed in the overlapping sides of the passages to define a single row of contact portions longitudinally of the axis.

An electrical connector assembly includes a plug connector having a plug portion received by a receptacle portion of a receptacle connector. The receptacle portion is larger than the plug portion to provide for floating movement between the connectors in &ldquo;x&rdquo; and &ldquo;y&rdquo; directions transverse to the mating direction of the connectors. Oblique terminal portions on one of the connectors create force vectors opposite the mating direction to provide floating movement between the connectors in the mating direction automatically in response to mating of the connectors.

An electrical connector includes an insulative housing, with a plurality of terminals mounted in the housing. A metal shell is disposed about at least a portion of the housing. The shell has a given thickness and opposed ends forming a joint. The opposed ends are overlapped at the joint. Each overlapped end has a reduced thickness less than the given thickness of the metal shell. Preferably, the combined thickness of the overlapped ends is substantially equal to the given thickness of the metal shell.
