An electric connection block is provided with a bus bar formed from a press-formed product of a metal plate member and a resin-made housing insert molded integrally with the bus bar. The bus bar is provided with a flat plate-shaped main plate part and a standing terminal erected by bending a base end connected to a portion of the main plate part relative to the main plate part. The electric connection block is manufactured by insert molding the housing integrally with the bus bar in a before-bending state where the standing terminal is located on the same plane as the main plate part, and bending the base end of the standing terminal to thereby erect the standing terminal relative to the main plate part after the insert molding of the housing.

Method of manufacturing electrical connection block

A female terminal fitting is provided with a lance hole at a given position in the longitudinal direction of a bottom wall portion thereof, a latching groove of a lance portion formed inside a terminal housing cavity of a connector housing being resiliently inserted into the lance hole, and with a latching protrusion formed at a hole edge portion on the front end side of the lance hole, an end edge of a retaining portion inserted in the lance hole abutting and latching on the latching protrusion. The latching protrusion includes a conical portion gradually expanding its diameter from a vertex on the front side toward a rear end on the hole edge portion side of the lance hole, a cylindrical portion integrally formed at the rear end edge of the conical portion, and a cutout portion with a part of the conical portion is cut out.

Connecting structure of connector and terminal fitting

A terminal connection structure comprises a first terminal made in a plate shape and formed with a through-opening, a supporting section supporting the first terminal, a second terminal made in a plate shape and to be a connection counterpart of the first terminal, and a clip made of a plate-like material having an electrical conductivity, and having a central piece formed into a U-shape and opposed pieces continued from the central piece, the central piece being provided with a pair of projection portions projected from both side portions of the central piece to prevent the clip from excessively entering into the through-opening. The first terminal is interposed between the opposed pieces facing to each other with the central piece inserted into the through-opening, and the second terminal is inserted between a surface of the first terminal facing the pair of projection portions and the clip.

Terminal connection structure

A distribution terminal for a wire-type fusible link is provided. The distribution terminal includes: an electrically-conductive metal plate having a fixing hole formed therethrough so as to be fastened to a battery terminal bolt; and a plurality of press-clamping barrels formed on the metal plate and provided corresponding respectively to a plurality of wire-type fusible links, each of the press-clamping barrels having a press-fastening leg for being press-clamped to a fusible conductor of the corresponding wire-type fusible link.

There is provided an electric connection box, including: a terminal mounting portion which includes a connection portion and a fastening portion provided on the connection portion; a metal terminal slid to be held and fixed between the connection portion and the fastening portion; a pair of restricting walls which are upstandingly provided on the connection portion, and abut respectively against opposite side edges of the metal terminal to restrict the rotation of the metal terminal; a retaining rib which is disposed on a surface of the connection portion and projects from the surface; and a retaining groove which is formed in the metal terminal, and is engaged with the retaining rib to prevent the metal terminal from being disengaged from the connection portion.

Electric connection box

A lever fitting-type connector includes a female connector, male connector and lever. The lever includes: a pair of side plates and arranged in parallel to each other, end parts of the side plates and being separated from each other having a distance therebetween; a connecting part for connecting opposite end parts of the side plates and; and fulcrum projections formed at the respective end parts of the side plates and. The lever further includes a flange part formed from an outer edge of the fulcrum projection in an outer peripheral direction. The flange part prevents the fulcrum projections from coming off from a fulcrum projection receiving part.

Lever fitting-type connector

In a half-fitting prevention connector () of the invention, a fitting detection member () is moved to a proper-fitting detecting position in a female connector () before connection terminals are automatically inserted by an automatic terminal inserting machine. As a result of this movement, a rear end of the fitting detection member () substantially coincides with a rear end surface of the housing of the female connector (), so that the connection terminals can be automatically inserted into terminal accommodating chambers () by the automatic terminal inserting machine.

Method of inserting connection terminals into half-fitting prevention connector

A connector includes a first connector, a second connector and a fitting detection member. The first connector includes a tab terminal and a projection. The second connector includes a tab receiving terminal for electrical connection to the tab terminal and an elastic lock arm for sliding over the projection when the second connector is fitted into the first connector. The fitting detection member is mounted on the second connector so as to slide in a direction of fitting of the first and second connectors. The fitting detection member is engaged with the elastic lock arm in a half fitting condition of the first and second connectors. The fitting detection member is slidable to a completely-fitted detecting position in a completely-fitted condition of the male and second connectors. The reduction member which reduce a frictional force generated by a contact between the projection and the elastic lock arm is formed on at least one of the projection and the elastic lock arm.

In a half-fitting prevention connector ( ) of the invention, a female connector ( ) includes a housing body ( ), and a flexible lock arm ( ) formed on an upper surface of the housing body ( ). A projecting portion ( ) is formed at a front end of the flexible lock arm ( ), and a lock arm guide groove ( ) is formed in a lower surface of the projecting portion ( ). A flexible lock arm-guide portion ( ) for fitting in the lock arm guide groove ( ) is formed on one side portion of an upper surface of a housing body ( ) of a male connector housing ( ). A flexible lock arm-holding portion ( ) is formed on an upper portion of one inner side surface of a detection member body ( ), and projects horizontally therefrom.

Half-fitting prevention connector

In a half-fitting prevention connector ( ) of the invention, when a pair of connector housings ( ) are fitted together, a half-fitted condition of the connector housings ( ) is detected by determining whether or not a fitting detection member ( ) on first connector housing ( ) can be slid into a proper fitting detection position. The proper fitting detection position of the fitting detection member ( ) is set at a position which is nearer relative to a front end of the housing than its initial position is. Therefore, by one operation for fitting the two connector housings together, with the fitting detection member held with the hand, the housing-fitting operation and the detection member-moving operation can be completed at a time. And besides, there is no need to change the positions of the fingers during this operation, and the housing-fitting operation can be effected with a reduced number of operations.

Half-fitting prevention connector and assembling method thereof

An electronic circuit device consists of a connector provided with guide projections , a circuit board on which the connector is mounted, and a case provided with guide recesses . Since the guide recesses are broader in width at the end portions of the side walls of the case , and the guide projections are narrower in width at the side where the connector is first inserted, no high positional accuracy is required when the connector is received in the case. Both the guide recesses and the guide projections include inclined faces to form a V-shape.

Connector fitting construction

A connector with a holder prevented from coming-off is provided, whereby an unexpected breakaway of the holder can be securely prevented from occurring and an incomplete assembly of the holder with the connector housing can be securely detected. The connector with a holder prevented from coming-off includes: a connector housing a holder mounted on a surface of the connector housing a spacer inserted into the middle of the connector housing from a direction crossing at right angles with the mounting direction of the holder a locking member protrudingly formed to the holder a locking part for locking formed to the locking member and an engaging part for engaging with the locking part formed to the spacer wherein the engaging part engages with the locking part when the holder is completely mounted.

Connector with holder prevented from coming-off

A connector housing includes a plurality of terminal chambers into for respectively accommodating a terminal provided with an electric wire. A mat-shaped rubber plug is attached to a rear end portion of the connector housing. In the rubber plug, recessed portions are formed so as to remain cylindrical protrusions each having a through hole through which the electric wire is inserted. A rear holder is attached to the rear end portion of the connector housing to retain the rubber plug thereat. The rear holder includes projections each configured so as to compress the associated protrusion of the rubber plug in the diameter direction of the electric wire as being inserted into the associated recessed portion of the rubber plug. The rubber plug includes at least one protrusion block formed by integrating adjacent cylindrical protrusions.
