The purpose of the present disclosure is to provide a method for producing pulp fibres for saccharification from the pulp fibres of used sanitary items, said pulp fibres for saccharification having low lignin contents distributed within a narrow range, and enabling the production of pulp fibres for saccharification having superior saccharification properties. The production method according to the present disclosure is characterised by comprising the following: a step for supplying a mixed solution () containing pulp fibres and highly-absorbent polymers sourced from used sanitary items to a treatment tank () via a mixed-solution supply port (); a step for supplying an ozone-containing gas () to a treatment solution () within the treatment tank () via an ozone-containing-gas supply port (); a step for lifting the ozone-containing gas () whilst lowering the pulp fibres and highly-absorbent polymers within the treatment tank (), thereby bringing the ozone-containing gas () into contact with the pulp fibres and highly-absorbent polymers, and forming pulp fibres for saccharification from the pulp fibres; and a step for discharging the treatment solution () via a treatment-solution discharge port (). The method is further characterised in that the pulp fibres for saccharification have lignin contents of 0.1% or less.

Method for producing pulp fibres for saccharification, and aqueous solution of pulp fibres for saccharification

Provided is a method for producing pulp fibers to be saccharified, whereby it becomes possible to reduce the amount of a highly water-absorbable polymer and therefore increase the collection efficiency in the production of a saccharified solution when pulp fibers for a saccharified liquid is produced from a dirty absorbent article. The method is a method for producing pulp fibers to be saccharified, from pulp fibers in a dirty absorbent article. The method includes: a solid-liquid separation step (S) of crushing up a highly water-absorbable polymer while separating an inactivated aqueous solution containing pulp fibers and the highly water-absorbable polymer both separated from a dirty absorbent article into a solid material () containing the pulp fibers and the highly water-absorbable polymer and a liquid material (E) containing the highly water-absorbable polymer and the inactivated aqueous solution; and a removal step (S) of washing away the remaining highly water-absorbable polymer by washing the separated solid pulp fibers in a solution or another means to produce pulp fibers to be saccharified.

Method for producing pulp fibers to be saccharified

A disposable wearing article adapted to prevent indicators from being transferred to a liquid-absorbent structure and to make the indicators develop the color reaction quickly in response to a discharge of body exudates. A disposable diaper has a topsheet, a backsheet and a liquid-absorbent structure interposed between these top- and backsheets. A surface of a first backsheet facing the liquid-absorbent structure is formed with indicators. The indicators contain a hot-melt polymer, an indicator agent adapted to develop a color reaction and a plasticizing oil. The liquid-absorbent structure has a liquid-absorbent core, a liquid-diffusive wrapping sheet adapted to wrap the core. A hydrophilic bottom sheet is interposed between a bottom surface of the core and a bottom surface region of the wrapping sheet. A dimension in the transverse direction of the bottom sheet is larger than a dimension of a region in which the indicators are formed and smaller than a dimension in the transverse direction of the core.

Disposable wearing article

A disposable diaper includes a liquid-permeable top sheet, a liquid-impermeable back sheet and an absorber between the top sheet and back sheet, and having a front body waist region, a crotch region and a back body waist region. The top sheet is a nonwoven fabric having on the skin contact surface a plurality of ridges and a plurality of recesses extending in the lengthwise direction of the disposable diaper, and alternating in the widthwise direction perpendicular to the lengthwise direction. The top sheet has point-like compressed sections at a prescribed density in the front body waist region and/or back body waist region, the ridges in prescribed zones having different heights than the adjacent ridges at the same location in the lengthwise direction.

Disposable diaper having excellent migration speed and satisfactory feeling

The present invention aims to provide a liquid-pervious sheet suitable to be used as a liquid-pervious topsheet of a bodily fluid-absorbent wearing article. One surfaceof both surfacesof a liquid-pervious sheetis formed with crestsand troughsextending in parallel to one another in a longitudinal direction A and alternate in a transverse direction B. The one surfaceis additionally formed at least in the respective crestswith a series of compressed debosses. In the respective compressed debosses, thermoplastic synthetic fibers forming the liquid-pervious sheetmore densely gather together than in zones surrounding the respective compressed debossesand thereby maintain initial fiber formation of the individual thermoplastic synthetic fibers.

Liquid-pervious sheet and method of making the same

An absorbent article has a liquid-permeable top sheet of a white non-woven fabric, a liquid-impermeable back sheet opposing the top sheet, and an absorbent between the top sheet and the back sheet. A colored element is provided on the side of the top sheet that does not contact the skin, is visible through the top sheet, and is colored to a color other than white. The top sheet has protrusions and indentations in the thickness direction. The basic weight of the protrusions is greater than the basic weight of the indentations. The color difference between the Lab value of the color of the colored element visible through the protrusions of the top sheet and the Lab value of the color of the colored element visible through the indentations of the top sheet is 2.8 or more.

Absorbent article and disposable diaper having viewed-through top sheet

A disposable wearing article improved so that leakage of body waste can be prevented, a change in color which might develop in an unused state of the wearing article can be inhibited and actually discharged body exudates can immediately cause an indicator to develop a change of color. A disposable diaper includes a topsheet, a backsheet and a liquid-absorbent structure interposed between these top- and backsheets. The backsheet includes first and second backsheets and the first backsheet is formed on its side facing the liquid-absorbent structure with an indicator adapted to develop a color reaction when the indicator comes in contact with at least one of moisture and body exudates. A plurality of such indicators is arranged to extend in a longitudinal direction and to be spaced apart from each other in a transverse direction. The liquid-absorbent structure includes a liquid-absorbent core and a wrapping sheet adapted to wrap the core. A bottom sheet as a hydrophobic bottom element is interposed between a bottom surface of the core and a bottom region of the wrapping sheet as a hydrophobic bottom element.

An absorbent structure that includes a first region, a second region and a central region extending between the first and second regions, the first region and part of the central region are formed with a thick segment. The second region is formed with a thin segment having a thickness dimension smaller than that of the thick segment. Between the thick segment and the thin segment, a thickness-sloped segment having a thickness dimension gradually reduced from the side of the first region toward the second region and the thin segment and at least a region of the thickness-sloped segment being adjacent to the thin segment are debossed.

Absorbent structure and absorbent wearing article using the same

A wearing article having a front waist region that is provided along a pair of opposite side edges with first fastening members, and a rear waist region provided along a pair of opposite side edges with second fastening members for engaging the first fastening members. Each of the second fastening members is formed with an uneven structure having a plurality of crests extending in a transverse direction and spaced one from another in a longitudinal direction. When the uneven structure comes into contact with the first fastening member, the resulting engagement is extremely weak and the uneven structure can be easily disengaged from the first fastening member. The uneven structure may be unfolded in the longitudinal direction and put in close contact with the first fastening member to achieve firm engagement over an area as large as possible between the flattened uneven structure and the first fastening member.

A wearing article having a front waist region provided along a pair of opposite side edges with first fastening members, and a rear waist region provided along a pair of opposite side edges with second fastening members adapted to be engaged with the associated first fastening members. Each of the second fastening members is formed with an uneven structure having a plurality of crests extending in a transverse direction and spaced one from another in a longitudinal direction. A degree of engaging force between the uneven structure and the first fastening member is extremely weak and the uneven structure can be easily disengaged from the first fastening member. The uneven structure may be unfolded in the longitudinal direction and put in close contact with the first fastening member to achieve firm engagement over an area as large as possible between the flattened uneven structure and the first fastening member.

A disposable pull-on wearing article has its waist region divided into a front section and a rear section and connector sheetsadapted to connect these two sections together. Each of the connector sheets has joint zones to be joined to the front section and the rear section, respectively, and a non-joint zone interposed between the joint zones so as to define a tear-apart line extending in vertical direction along which the article is torn apart. The non-joint zone has a tensile strength of at least 8N in the waist-surrounding direction and a tear strength in a range of 0.1 to 12N also in the waist-surrounding direction.

A diaper for adults includes a front waist region, a rear waist region and a crotch region extending therebetween, wherein side edge portions of the front and rear waist regions are detachably connected to each other so as to form a waist hole and a pair of leg holes, the side edge portions have a dimension of at least 150 mm as measured in a longitudinal direction, and a position correcting system to correct relative position of first and second fastening components when the first and second waist regions are connected to each other comprises at least one spacing zone defined between setting zones for tow or more fastening components into which the first fastening component is divided in the longitudinal direction.

A disposable pull-on wearing article has its waist region divided into a front section and a rear section and connector sheet strips adapted to connect these two sections together. Each of the connector sheet strips has zones to be joined to the front sections and a non-joint zone interposed between the zones to be joined to the front and rear sections and adapted to be easily torn apart in the vertical direction of the article. The front and rear sections respectively have ears lying on the outer side. These ears have respective inner surface releasably joined to each other by a pressure-sensitive adhesive.

A pull-on diaper includes a front waist region and a rear waist region joined together along joints defined by transversely opposite edges of these waist regions so as to form a waist-hole and a pair of leg-holes. The joints are adapted to be ruptured for disposal of the diaper which has been used. The front waist region and the rear waist region are joined together along the joints by means of joining members and each of the joining members is provided with a gripper formed integrally with this joining member and rupture guides extending from the gripper toward the waist-hole and the associated one of the leg-holes.
