Provided is a multichannel pipette whose number of channels can be arbitrarily set and managed to improve usability of the multichannel pipette and improve productivity, quality control, and maintainability in a research site. A multichannel pipette includes a pipette main body, a lower part attached to a lower end portion of the pipette main body, and a plurality of chip holder units housed inside the lower part, wherein each of the chip holder units has a connecting portion attachable to and removable from any of a plurality of to-be-connected portions provided in a unit case inside the lower part, and each of the chip holder units is attachable to and removable from the lower part.

Multichannel pipette

Provided is an animal weighing scale that automatically measures a weight of an animal by a simple configuration. The animal weighing scale includes a breeding container for laboratory animals and a scale including a weighing pan supported by a weight sensor, the weighing pan is disposed inside a breeding space of the breeding container, and the weight sensor is disposed inside or outside the breeding space, and accordingly, based on a measurement value change when an animal inside the container is placed onto the pan, a weight change of the animal can be continuously recorded.

Animal weighing scale

Provided is an overload prevention mechanism including a load receiving part provided with a flange having at least three ribs on the upper surface of the flange; a pedestal located below the load receiving part; an elastic body which has one end in contact with the load receiving part and the other end in contact with the pedestal, and which biases the load receiving part and the pedestal in such a direction that the load receiving part and the pedestal are separated from each other; and a connection member having on the lower surface thereof recessed grooves which engage with the ribs. The three or more ribs are disposed so as to restrict inclination and rattling of the load receiving part due to a load applied to the load receiving part.

Overload prevention mechanism

Animal behavior monitoring system

Provided is an overload prevention mechanism having a structure that protects a weight sensor with a floating action and ensuring the reproducibility of the return position of the weight sensor. Containment workstation for hazardous fine particles

Provided is a mass sensor including a four-corner-adjusting-mechanism capable of reducing the sensitivity of four-corner adjustment without reducing the rigidity of a Roberval mechanism. A mass sensor () includes a Roberval mechanism () in which a floating frame () and a fixing frame () are connected by upper and lower sub-frames () having thin portions () formed thereon, and a four-corner-adjusting-mechanism () to perform parallelism adjustment. The four-corner-adjusting-mechanism () includes an adjusting screw (), and an upper elastic member () and a lower elastic member () disposed in series in the vertical direction so as to sandwich the sub-frame () to be subjected to parallelism adjustment.

Mass sensor

Provided is a leveling mechanism for a weighing device that facilitates horizontal leveling of the weighing device. The leveling mechanism () includes a foot piece () having a foot portion () that in contact with an installation surface and a foot piece shaft () that extends upward from the foot portion and has a male screw () on its outer periphery, a rotatable body () having on its inner periphery a female screw, a housing () for accommodating the rotatable body engaged with the foot piece, a fixing portion (S) for fixing the housing to a device case (), and a housing space () covering the housing, provided in the device case. The leveling mechanism converts a rotational motion of the rotatable body to a vertical motion of the foot piece.

Pipette device

To provide a weighing apparatus by which it is possible for a user himself/herself to determine poor performance of the apparatus is a factor attributable to an installation environment, and the weighing accuracy is improved. Respective temporal fluctuations in weighed data detected from a load measuring mechanismand environmental measurement data detected in an environmental measurement meansare recorded in a correlative manner in an arithmetic processing unit, and the temporal fluctuations are visually recognizable via a display unit. Thereby, the correlation between the environmental variations and the weighed data is visually disclosed, which makes it possible for a user to easily recognize that poor performance of the apparatus is attributable to the environmental variations, that increases the reliability of the weighing apparatus. Further, the fundamental performance (accuracy) presented by the apparatus is also assured by allowing the user himself/herself to improve the surrounding environment.

Weighing apparatus that correlates environmental fluctuations with weight results

A weighing apparatus is provided that quantifies an impact load based on an electrical output from a mass sensor to prevent damage to the mass sensor by disclosing the degree of impact to a user. The weighing apparatus includes a weighing unit on which an object is placed and a mass sensor that receives the mass&#xd7;acceleration of gravity of the object as a load and measures mass from an electrical signal corresponding to displacement of an internal structure of the apparatus. The apparatus quantifies and records the amount of the displacement, and determines acceleration by a numerical calculation from the displacement data. The obtained acceleration quantifies the amount of impact applied on the weighing apparatus by the object, and may be used to warn the user when the weighing apparatus is in danger of damage.

Weighing apparatus that quantifies amount of impact

To prevent measurement errors caused by impact including an impact load transmitted at high speed or static electricity and prevent destruction of a sensor unit due to the above-mentioned impact load. Through-holes () are formed in four corners of a pan receiver, upwardly protruding pieces () of a plate spring fixed to a bottom surface of the pan receiver are inserted into the through-holes (), and pan receiver legs are attached to the upwardly protruding pieces (). When a pan is mounted on the pan receiver, four corners of the pan are supported by the upper surfaces of gel-like cushioning bodies and the upper ends of coil springs, impact applied to the pan including an impact load transmitted at high speed is absorbed by the gel-like cushioning bodies, and the lower ends of the coil springs contact the upwardly protruding pieces () of the plate spring, so that the pan assumes a conducting state with the pan receiver via the coil springs and the plate spring, and even if the pan is charged with static electricity, the static electricity due to charging can be released to the pan receiver via the coil springs and the plate spring.

Measurement device

A weighing device is provided that suppresses air convection currents generated in a weighing chamber in the opening/closing of a door of the chamber with a relatively simple configuration. A weighing space is partitioned into two spaces with a partition plate to form a lower small-capacity weighing chamber, which enables to settle down the convection in a short time if convection is generated in the chamber. Suspended walls adjacent to the doors are attached to the partition plate edge sides along the door opening/closing directions. Even when a door is opened, warm air stagnant in the upper space in the chamber is restricted or blocked to flow out to the outside by the suspended walls, which generates no convection or slight convection, which settles down in a short time, without adverse effect on a weighing operation. The upper space may be utilized for another purpose such as a neutralization chamber.
