A radiographic imaging apparatus including: a sensor substrate in which pixels are formed in a first surface of a base material; a conversion layer provided on the first surface; a signal processing substrate provided on one side the sensor substrate and includes at least a part of a signal processing unit; a driving substrate provided on the one side or the other side of the sensor substrate and includes at least a part of a drive unit; a first cable of which one end is connected to the sensor substrate and the other end is electrically connected to the signal processing substrate; and a second cable of which one end is connected to the sensor substrate, and passes through the first surface side or a second surface side of the base material and the other end is connected to the driving substrate.

The radiography apparatus includes: a plurality of imaging pixels that are provided on a resin substrate having flexibility, are used to capture a radiographic image; a detection unit; an accumulation controller that performs control such that the charge generated in each of the imaging pixels is accumulated in the imaging pixel in a case in which an operation mode is an accumulation mode; and a mode change controller that performs control such that the operation mode of the accumulation controller is changed to the accumulation mode in a case in which a rate of change in a level of an electric signal based on the charge generated in the detection unit per hour or an amount of change in the level of the electric signal per hour is greater than a first threshold value and the level of the electric signal is greater than a second threshold value.

A control unit of an electronic cassette has a function of switching a power supply state to an ADC between an operating state corresponding to a first state in which first power is supplied and a non-operating state corresponding to a second state in which second power that is lower than the first power per unit time is supplied. The control unit reduces the number of ADCs in the operating state per unit time T in an AED operation for detecting the start of the emission of X-rays to be less than that in an image reading operation for outputting an X-ray image provided for diagnosis.
