Embodiments of this application disclose a noise reduction headset. A branch pipe is disposed in the headset to connect a sound cavity inside the headset and an external environment. The branch pipe has a low-pass filter function to filter out high-band noise entering the sound cavity from the external environment, so that impact on sound quality inside the sound cavity that is caused by noise in the external environment is reduced, thereby implementing passive noise reduction.

Headset

There is provided an earphone device of an ear-hole insertion type having a noise cancelling function, the earphone device including a left channel housing unit that accommodates a left channel driver unit outputting a left channel sound; and a right channel housing unit that accommodates a right channel driver unit outputting a right channel sound. A microphone for noise cancelling and a battery are accommodated in each of the left and right channel housing units.

The present technique relates to an earhole-wearable sound collection device, a signal processing device, and a sound collection method for realizing sound collection at a high S/N ratio with reduced noise influence, regardless of noise reduction methods such as the SS method. In the earhole-wearable sound collection device, a microphone that collects emitted speech voice is provided in a space that is substantially sealed off from outside and connects to an ear canal of the wearer, so that emitted speech voice propagating through the ear canal of the wearer is collected. A noise cancelling unit that reduces noise propagating in the internal space having the microphone located therein is further provided to improve the S/N ratio of emitted speech voice collection signals. Further, an equalizing process for reducing the muffled sound generated when the emitted speech voice propagating through the ear canal is collected is performed on the sound collection signal from the microphone. In this manner, higher sound quality is achieved.

Earhole-wearable sound collection device, signal processing device, and sound collection method

A sound reproducing device includes: a plug section configured to receive input of L-channel and R-channel audio signals; an L-channel housing section including at least an L-channel driver unit configured to produce sound on the basis of the L-channel audio signal, an L-channel microphone configured to collect external sound, and an L-channel microcomputer configured to perform setting control on noise-canceling processing on the basis of a collected sound signal of the microphone; an R-channel housing section including a same corresponding configuration as those of the L-channel housing section; and an in-cord housing section formed so as to be inserted in a wiring cord for supplying the signals inputted from the plug section to the L-channel and the R-channel housing sections, wherein the in-cord housing section is provided with a communication terminal for allowing data communication between the L-channel microcomputer and the R-channel microcomputer, and an external apparatus.

Headphones

A headphone includes a headband and a left housing and a right housing. The left housing and the right housing are mounted to respective ends of the headband through respective hangers. Each housing accommodates a drive unit. Sliders including hollow cylindrical members are mounted to the respective hangers, and are slidably supported at slidably supporting portions at the respective ends of the headband. A cord, disposed between the left and right housings and used to pass drive electric current to the drive unit in one of the housings, is spirally accommodated in the hollow cylindrical members making up the respective sliders so that the cord is capable of being stretched and compressed.
