A lever-type connector () includes wires (), a housing (), a cover (), a lever () and a binding band (). The lever () is mounted on the housing () for rotation between connection start and connection end positions. The cover () includes a wire draw-out portion () for bending the wires () pulled from the housing () and a wire fixing portion () for fixing the wires () to the wire draw-out portion (). The wire fixing portion () includes a first side wall () on an inner side, a second side wall () on an outer side and a bottom wall () between the first and second side walls (). Contact of the lever () with the second side wall () stops rotation at the connection start position. The bottom wall () includes two band insertion holes () through which the binding band () is inserted.

Lever-type connector

A connector is provided with a body cover and a lid cover for covering a wire. A tightening member is to be wound along a surface of the body cover. A first part and a second part are provided on the surface of the body cover while being spaced apart in a circumferential direction. A recess is provided between the first and second parts in the body cover, and a pressing portion is stretched from the first part toward the second part in the tightening member. A coupling is to be received into the recess in the lid cover, and a pressed portion is arranged outwardly of a virtual straight line connecting the first and second parts in the coupling. The pressing portion presses the pressed portion toward an inner surface of the recess.

Connector

A terminal fitting to be connected to a mating terminal fitting with a tab (T) includes a rectangular tube () composed of a bottom wall (), two side walls () rising from the bottom wall () and a ceiling wall () facing the bottom wall (). A resilient contact () extends along the bottom wall () inside the rectangular tube (). A protection wall () has bending edge (L) continuous with one of the side walls () is before a front end (A) of the bottom wall () and extends from the bending edge (L) toward the other side wall (). A clearance for receiving the tab (T) is between the protection wall () and the ceiling wall (). The bending edge (L) approaches the ceiling wall () from a front end (A) of the bottom wall () toward a front end (A) of the side wall ().

Terminal fitting

A terminal fitting () includes a rectangular tube () with a bottom wall (), two side walls (A,B) rising from the bottom wall () and a ceiling wall () facing the bottom wall (). The rectangular tube () includes a terminal insertion opening () on one end, and a tab (T) is insertable therein. A resilient contact piece () is arranged along the bottom wall () inside the rectangular tube (). Two protection walls (A,B) extend respectively from the side walls (A,B) to close the terminal insertion opening (), leaving a clearance for entrance of the tab (T) between the ceiling wall () and the protection walls. The protection walls (A,B) have facing edges (A,B) facing the mating protection walls (B,A), and the facing edges (A,B) extend obliquely with respect to a line (L) perpendicular to the bottom wall ().

A terminal () includes a rectangular tubular box () that is open in a front-rear direction. The box () includes a bottom wall (), first and second side walls () rising from sides () of the bottom wall (), a ceiling wall () extending from an upper edge () of the first side wall () toward the second wall () and an outer wall () extending from an upper end() of the second side wall () toward the first side wall () along an upper surface of the ceiling wall (). A holding piece (F) projects on an extending end part (F) of the outer wall (). A holding recess (F) is provided on an upper end part of the first side wall () and receives the holding piece (F) so that a part of the holding piece (F) is located inside the box ().

Terminal

A lever-type connector () includes a housing () and a lever () mounted on the housing () movably to an initial position, a first connection position and a second connection position. The lever () includes a deflecting portion () deflectable in a moving direction of the lever (). The housing () includes a projecting portion () configured to start contacting the deflecting portion () halfway through a movement of the lever () from the initial to the first connection position and deflect the deflecting portion () until the second connection position is reached and a lever lock portion () configured to hold the lever () in a movable state between the first connection position and the second connection position. The lever () includes a receiving portion () configured to contact not the lever lock portion (), but the projecting portion () when the second connection position is reached.

An electrical wire cover prevents the tip of a tie member from being inserted between electrical wires when multiple electrical wires are wrapped by the tie member, and it protects and leads electrical wires to the outside. The electrical wire cover includes an electrical wire insertion portion into which the electrical wires are inserted; a tie member insertion portion provided on the outer circumferential side of the electrical wire insertion portion, and into which a tie member is inserted; a tie member lead-out portion by which the tie member is led to the outside of the electrical wire insertion portion; and an electrical wire fixing portion provided on the outer circumferential side of the electrical wire insertion portion, and that fixes the electrical wires by wrapping them along with the tie member.

Electrical wire cover

A connector () includes a female housing () for accommodating female terminals () and a retainer () mountable in female housing (). The retainer () includes a retaining portion () that retains the female terminals () by being inserted into a retainer mounting hole () in the female housing (). Locks () are adjacent to the retaining portion () in a direction intersecting an inserting direction of the retaining portion () while standing up from bases () integral to the retaining portion (). The locks () resiliently deform by moving onto partial locking projections () and full locking projections () formed in the female housing (), and resiliently restore to engage the partial locking projections () and the full locking projections (). The lock pieces () are separated from the retaining portion ().

A connector has a slider () with a base () extending along a width direction and to be inserted below a lock arm (). Two arms () project from opposite widthwise ends of the base (). A coupling () couples projecting end parts of the arms () and faces an upper surface side of the lock arm (). A deflectable initial position holding portion () is provided on the base () and is configured to regulate a movement of the slider () to a connection position by resiliently locking an initial position holding receiving portion () of a housing main body () at an initial position. A connection position holding portion () is provided on the coupling () and is configured to regulate a detachment of the slider () by contacting a connection position holding receiving portion () of the lock arm () at the connection position.

In the process of connecting first and second housings (), a slider () is kept at an advanced position by locking a resilient stopper () and a stopper receiving portion (), and springs () accumulate spring forces. The resilient stopper () and the stopper receiving portion () are released as the housings () are connected and the slider () is moved to a retracted position while being biased by the springs (). The resilient stopper () projects from a base end () to a tip () and has a first support () at the base end () to function as a support of deflection when starting deflection in the process of connecting the first and second housings () and a second support () closer to the tip () than the base end () to function as a support of deflection following the first support ().

A connector includes a first housing () with a terminal accommodating portion () surrounded by a peripheral wall (), a second housing () connectable to the first housing (), and a detector () to detect a connected state of the housings () based on whether the detector () moves from an initial position to a detection position in a space between the terminal accommodating portion () and the peripheral wall (). An opening () extends circumferentially in a part of the peripheral wall () and exposes the detector (). Deformation regulating portions () are formed on the peripheral wall () and the detector member () and permit movements of the detector () between the initial position and the detection position and regulate deformation of the peripheral wall () to enlarge an opening width of the opening () by being fit to each other.

A terminal assembly includes a wire including a core made of metal and covered with a coating, a terminal including a wire connecting portion connected to an end portion of the wire, a sealing resin sealing the wire connecting portion, and a housing including a through hole with a front opening and a rear opening. The terminal is made of a different kind of metal from the core of the wire. The housing accommodates the terminal in the through hole. The wire connecting portion includes an exposed portion not covered with the sealing resin and unexposed portions covered with the sealing resin. The exposed portion is positioned between the unexposed portions in a front and rear direction, thereby protecting the wire connecting portion from electrolytic corrosion. The exposed portion is obtained after the sealing resin is worn by being rubbed against an inner wall of the through hole.
