Disclosed is an automatic icemaker has a rotatably supported ice making portion having first and second ice making trays arranged in a back-to-back manner, a motor for rotating the ice making portion, a first and a second temperature detecting sensors for detecting the temperature of the first and second ice making tray or the temperature of ice within a compartment of the first and second ice making tray, and a signal processor for controlling the motor to turn over the ice making portion after the temperature of the first or second ice making tray, or the temperature of ice within a compartment of the first or second ice making tray, looking upward, detected by the first temperature detecting sensor or the second temperature detecting sensor has become stabilized in the vicinity of 0&#xb0; C.

Automatic icemaker

An automatic icemaker according to the invention can be disposed in one part of a freezer and automatically make ice pieces, and is provided with temperature distribution forming means which forms a temperature distribution in which freezing progresses from the open side of ice partitions of an ice-tray and is completed near the bottom side of the ice partitions.

Wasteless type lamination system

In a double-side lamination system having a thermocompression bonding device for laminating laminate films on both surfaces of a card by applying heat and pressure using a pair of heat rollers, a temperature measurement device for measuring temperatures of the heat rollers are provided, and whether the lamination system is in a double-side lamination mode in which laminations are carried out on both surfaces of the card, or in a single-side lamination mode in which lamination is carried out on one of the surfaces of the card, is automatically distinguished by comparing measured temperatures of the heat rollers at a predetermined time after turn-on of the power of the system with a predetermined reference temperature.

Double-side lamination system

In a lamination system for laminating a film with a heat adhesive layer on at least a surface of a plastic card applying heat and pressure by heat rollers, each of two rectification devices for rectifying warp in the laminated card is provided independently of each other, at the downstream of the heat rollers, respectively along each of sides of the card along card transfer direction. Each of the rectification devices comprises a pair of rotatable rollers.

Lamination system

A lamination system comprises; a film transfer means for transferring along a film transfer path a laminate film in which small windows are provided, a film detection sensor for detecting the laminate film, a cutting means for cutting the laminate film into a predetermined length. The film transfer means further transfers the cut laminate film along the film transfer path, the lamination system further comprises a card transfer means for transferring a card on the surface of which a terminal of an IC tip is provided along a card transfer path, a positioning mean for making the terminal and the small window into a predetermined positional relation, a thermocompression bonding means for laminating laminate film with the card.

A lamination system comprises; a film transfer means for transferring along a first transfer path a continuous film chosen from more than two kinds of films different in width, a cutting means provided along the first transfer path for cutting the film in a predetermined length, a card transfer means for transferring an ID card along a second transfer path that converges with the first transfer path at a predetermined point of conversion, a thermocompression bonding means for laminating the film cut on a surface of the ID card at the downstream of the point of conversion. The lamination system is provided with guide members for restricting the transverse movement of the film within a distance corresponding to the maximum width of the films, and alignment means for aligning the film along a desired side end of the first transfer path.

A lamination system comprises a first transfer means, a cutting means provided at the downstream of the first transfer means for cutting a laminate film, a second transfer means for transferring the cut laminate film, a card transfer means for transferring a card along a card transfer path that converges with the film transfer path at a point of convergence, and a thermocompression bonding means for laminating the cut laminate film with the card at the downstream of the point of convergence, in which a means for detecting a failure in cutting the laminate film is provided.

A lamination system of the present invention comprises; a film transfer means for transferring a continuous film, a cutting means for cutting the film, a card transfer means for transferring an ID card, a thermocompression bonding means for laminating the film to the ID card, a card straightening means straightening the ID card bent during the thermocompression bonding, in which a spring up suppression means for suppressing a spring up of a trailing edge of the ID card leaving the thermocompression bonding means is provided.

The present invention provides a proximity type contactless IC card issuance machine comprising an IC card processing mechanism that reads or writes information from or into an IC chip buried in an IC card through a signal transmission element and a print processing mechanism that carries out printing on a surface of the IC card, wherein at least a card collision preventive member having edge portion for smoothly guiding transfer of the IC card is provided near to the signal transmission element. The card collision preventive member can be made to serve as a fixing spacer for the signal transmission element. An edge portion for smoothly guiding transfer of the IC card may be provided to the signal transmission element, in stead of the card collision preventive member provided near to the signal transmission element.

Disclosed is a thermal recording apparatus for forming a desired visual image on a recording medium disposed on the opposite side, by utilizing a thermal energy of heating elements provided on a substrate. In the thermal recording apparatus using a thermal head comprising a plurality of substrates on which the heating elements are arranged in line, the joint section of these substrates is positioned in an auxiliary information recording area outside of the image recording width, thus enabling to increase the recording width without deteriorating the recording quality of a visual image to be recorded. That is, in the present invention, one substrate is at least as wide as the image recording area, and another substrate having heating elements also disposed in line is connected to both sides, or one side, of the substrate for image recording, thereby enabling recording the image nearly at the center of the recording medium and also recording an auxiliary information of the image in a margin. The joint of the substrates in the thermal head is provided so as to come in the margin or in a boundary between the image recording area and the auxiliary information recording area.

Thermal recording apparatus

A thermal transfer color recording device comprising a recording portion for effecting thermal transfer color recording by clamping and conveying an ink sheet on which ink of two or more colors being applied respectively on areas nearly equal to or larger than desired recording areas and a recording paper between a thermal head having a plurality of rectilinear heating elements and a platen roller adapted to selectively press the heating elements. A grip roller is located downstream side from the recording portion for clamping and conveying the recording paper between a pinch roller being resiliently biassed agaist the grip roller. An auxiliary roller is located upstream side from the recording portion and clamping and conveying the recording paper only between the platen roller. There are provided minute projections on the surface of the grip roller for ensuring the gripping and conveying operation.

Thermal transfer color recording device

A thermal transfer printing apparatus has an improved ink sheet interchanging device. A fusion type or sublimation type thermal transfer printing using a combination of many kinds of ink sheets can be carried out by a single printing apparatus. A desired ink sheet cassette or ink sheet is selected by a carrier from a plurality of ink sheet cassettes each having an ink sheet, and moved in the recording paper transfer direction to a printing portion. A plurality of ink sheet cassettes are arranged at the up-stream side and down-stream side of the cassette transferring direction with respect to the printing portion or stacked at either one of the up-stream side and the down-stream side of the cassette transferring direction. Each of the ink sheet cassettes includes a supply core and a take-up core of the ink sheet arranged horizontally or vertically, and each of the take-up cores is transferred from the ink sheet cassette over the printing portion and returned to the ink sheet cassette after the printing.
