A slag discharge system includes a slag bath at a bottom portion of a gasifier; a slag cooling water circulation line that discharges a mixture of slag and a slag cooling water from the slag bath; a coarse slag separator device that separates coarse slag contained in the slag cooling water; a fine slag separator device connected to the coarse slag separator device downstream side, the fine slag separator device separating fine slag; and a circulator pump connected to the fine slag separator device downstream side, the circulator pump creating a water flow in the slag cooling water circulation line; wherein the fine slag separator device includes a branch section where the slag cooling water circulation line branches into a plurality of branch lines and again joins together as one line, a fine slag filter portion, and a shutoff valve and disposed in each of the plurality of branch lines.

Slag discharge system, gasifier, and slag filtration method

A system is disclosed provided with: a slag bath that retains slag cooling water and receives slag; a slag cooling water feed line and a slag pump outlet via which the slag and the slag cooling water are pumped and fed to a slag separation device; a circulation pump that forms a water flow for pumping out the slag; a slag cooling water circulation line linking from the slag separation device to the slag bath; a reverse flow line that causes the slag cooling water dispensed from the circulation pump to flow in reverse in the slag cooling water feed line; a selective supply unit capable of selectively supplying the slag cooling water dispensed from the circulation pump to the slag cooling water circulation line and the reverse flow line; and a water supply line, one end of which is connected to the slag cooling water feed line.

Slag discharge system, gasifier provided with same, and method for operating slag discharge system

Provided is an integrated coal gasification combined cycle equipped with: a gasifier that generates combustible gas from pulverized coal; a gas cooler; gas turbine equipment; an auxiliary fuel supply unit that supplies an auxiliary fuel to the gas turbine equipment; a heat recovery steam generator; steam turbine equipment; generators; and a circulation line unit that circulates cooling water. The heat recovery steam generator has a first medium-pressure coal economizer and a second medium-pressure coal economizer. When the combustible gas generated from the pulverized coal is burned, a serial heat exchange line is formed wherein cooling water passes through the first medium-pressure coal economizer, the second medium-pressure coal economizer, and the gas cooler. When the auxiliary fuel is burned, separate heat exchange lines are formed, wherein the cooling water separately passes through the first medium-pressure coal economizer and the second medium-pressure coal economizer.

Integrated gasification combined cycle and method for operating integrated gasification combined cycle

A slag discharge system that includes: a gasification furnace which thermally decomposes and gasifies a pulverized raw material composed of a carbonaceous solid; a slag hopper which is provided at a bottom portion of the gasification furnace and receives slag produced from the pulverized raw material and in which cooling water is stored; a lock hopper which temporarily stores the slag outside of the gasification furnace; and a slag discharge line which makes the slag hopper communicate with the lock hopper. The lock hopper is disposed to the side of the gasification furnace, and the slag discharge system is provided with a water flow forming apparatus for forming a flow of the cooling water which allows the slag to be led to the lock hopper in the slag discharge line.

Slag discharge system, gasifier, and gasification power generation apparatus

The problem of a heat exchanger of a heat recovery steam generator being corroded by sulfuric acid is solved, and the gas temperature at the outlet of the heat recovery steam generator is set at a value equal to or lower than the dew point of sulfuric acid, thereby realizing an integrated coal gasification combined cycle plant with high efficiency. A flue-gas-desulfurization-type integrated coal gasification combined cycle plant includes a gasifier configured to convert pulverized coal to a gas fuel; an heat recovery steam generator configured to generate steam; a gas turbine which is operated by the gas fuel and which supplies a combustion exhaust gas to the heat recovery steam generator; a steam turbine which is operated by the steam generated by the heat recovery steam generator; a power generator connected to at least one of the gas turbine and the steam turbine; and a desulfurization equipment configured to desulfurize the combustion exhaust gas discharged from the heat recovery steam generator, the desulfurized combustion exhaust gas being exhausted into the atmosphere, wherein the heat recovery steam generator includes an acid-resistant feedwater heater which preheats boiler feedwater and which is provided at the downstream side of a main heat exchanger.

Integrated coal gasification combined cycle plant

An IGCC plant which can improve the power generation efficiency and which can suppress the emission of sulfur components and dust into the atmosphere is provided. The IGCC plant described above has a coal gasifier for converting pulverized coal to a syngas; an exhaust heat recovery boiler generating steam; a gas turbine system which is operated by the syngas and which supplies a combustion exhaust gas to the exhaust heat recovery boiler; a steam turbine system operated by the steam generated by the exhaust heat recovery boiler; a power generator connected to the gas turbine system and/or the steam turbine system; a desulfurization device for removing sulfur components from the combustion exhaust gas discharged from the exhaust heat recovery boiler; and a wet-type electric precipitator for removing sulfur components and dust.

An integrated coal gasification combined cycle (IGCC) plant which appropriately processes an early produced gas to suppress the emission of a sulfur component into the atmosphere for further improving environmental compatibility is provided. The IGCC plant has a gasifier for converting pulverized coal to gas fuel, a gas turbine operated thereby and supplying a combustion exhaust gas to an heat recovery steam generator, a steam turbine operated by steam generated thereby, and a power generator connected to the gas turbine system and/or the steam turbine. In this IGCC plant, a combustion exhaust gas discharged from the heat recovery steam generator is desulfurized and exhausted into the atmosphere. In addition, an initial desulfurization equipment exclusively used for the early produced gas is provided for a flow path extending from an outlet side of the gasifier to a flare system.
