A processing system includes a powdery-material feeding device including at least one feeder configured to discharge a reserved powdery material, and an equipment including a filling device configured to be fed with the powdery material discharged from the feeder and configured to execute a post process using the powdery material filled by the filling device, in which upon a start of the equipment having stopped filling with the powdery material by the filling device and executing the post process, when the feeder supplies the filling device with the predetermined amount of the powdery material before the start of the equipment being stopped, the processing system executes tuning of measuring a relation between control input provided to a motor of the feeder and a flow rate of the powdery material discharged from the feeder.

Powdery material processing system and method of controlling the same

A compression-molding system in which upon a start of a molding machine being stopped, a powdery-material feeding device preliminarily supplies a filling device with a predetermined amount of a powdery material while stopping a relative displacement of the filling device and a compression by an upper punch and a lower punch, and the molding machine is subsequently started to cause the relative displacement of the filling device and the compression by the upper punch and the lower punch.

A controller of a rotary compression-molding machine is configured to rotate a turret including a table including a die bore, and punch retaining portions vertically slidably retaining punches disposed above and below the die bore along with the punches, and to fill the die bore with a powdery material from a filling device disposed just above the table, to compress the powdery material filled in the die bore with the punches and to obtain a molded product. The controller is configured to adjust rotational speed of the turret and the punches to allow the powdery material in a feed pipe, directly connected with the filling device and configured to feed the filling device with the powdery material, to have a level of an upper surface kept within a constant target range.

A powdery material mixing degree measurement device includes a discharger configured to discharge mixed powdery materials to a filler configured to fill, with the powdery materials, a vertically penetrating die bore of a compression-molding machine including a table including the die bore, a slidable lower punch including an upper end inserted to the die bore, and a slidable upper punch including a lower end inserted to the die bore, a plurality of movable portions configured to move the mixed powdery materials to the discharger, and a sensor configured to measure a mixing degree of the mixed powdery materials in the movable portions.

A control unit for a powder material compression molding machine including a powder material compressor which compresses a powder material filled between compressing members in an adjusted filled amount by making the compressing members approach to each other at a predetermined interval, so as to mold a molded product, and a pressure detector which detects a powder material compressing pressure by the powder material compressor. The control unit including a weight determiner which determines that the weight of filled powder material is normal, a thickness determiner which determines that the thickness of the molded product is abnormal in the case where the pressure detected by the pressure detector falls out of a first predetermined range when the weight determiner determines normality, and a compression controller which controls the powder material compressor when the thickness determiner determines abnormality.
