A heat sealable polypropylene resin laminate film having good toughness and heat sealing strength and energy sufficient for packaging heavy goods, mainly fruits and vegetables, and a package made of such film, is a laminate film having three or more layers, a substrate layer made of a crystalline polypropylene resin, a heat sealable layer having a melting point of not more than 150&#xb0; C., and an intermediate layer. The product of the tensile modulus of elasticity (GPa) in both orthogonal directions of the film is 3.1-6.0 (GPa), and the heat sealing energy is not less than 11N&#xb7;cm/15 mm when the film is sealed, such that the heat sealing strength of the film is not less than 8N/15 mm.

The present invention provides a polyamide based mixed resin laminated film roll formed by winding up a polyamide based mixed resin laminated film comprising a plurality of polyamide mixed resin sheets stacked on top of each other. A first sample cutout portion is provided within 2 m from the winding end of film, and a final sample cutout portion is provided within 2 m from the winding start of film. The roll is regulated so that, when sample cutout portions are provided at intervals of about 100 m from the first sample cutout portion, for all samples cutout from the cutout portions, the elastomer content, tensile modulus of elasticity, thickness unevenness in the longitudinal direction and other properties fall within a predetermined variation range.

The inventive heat-shrinkable polystyrene film is high in shrinkability in the longitudinal direction that is its main shrinkage direction, is excellent in perforated line openability, and has high toughness. An easy-to-tear biaxially-stretched polyester film having easy cut property and adhesiveness, as well as superior properties of polyester film, such as heat resistance, moisture-proof property, transparency, aroma retention and the like is provided. The polyester laminate film may include at least two layers, a layer substantially free of a molecular orientation and a layer having a molecular orientation, which shows a difference (Nx&#x2212;Ny) between the refractive index Nx in the longitudinal direction and the refractive index Ny in the width direction of &#x2212;0.010 to 0.010 and the refractive index Nz in the thickness direction of not less than 1.480. The layer having a molecular orientation has a thickness of 1-8 &#x3bc;m.

Easy tear biaxially stretched polyester based film

To provide a heat shrinkable film that, when used as a label of beverage container, enhances the smoothness of external surface side to thereby prevent merchandise jamming in an automatic vending machine of beverage and that is fully satisfactory in solvent bonding capability and excels in processability. There is provided a heat shrinkable polyester film characterized in that (A) at least one major surface thereof is overlaid with 0.002 to 0.5 g/m, in terms of solid content coating amount of a silicone containing easily slipping layer, (B) a friction coefficient between one and the same easily-slipping layer satisfies a relationship of &#x3bc;d&#x2266;0.27, and that (C) the heat shrinkable polyester film exhibits a heat shrinkage percentage of not less than 50% in a maximum shrinkage direction, after immersion in hot water at 95&#xb0; C. for 10 seconds. Thus, there is provided the heat shrinkable film that when used as a label of beverage container, enhances the smoothness of external surface side to thereby prevent merchandise jamming in an automatic vending machine of beverage and that is fully satisfactory in solvent bonding capability and excels in processability.

Heat shrinkable film

An oriented syndiotactic polystyrene-based film composed of an oriented film made of a syndiotactic styrene polymer and an adhesiveness-improving layer formed from a specific water-dispersible resin on at least one surface of the oriented film, which is excellent in the tight adhesion between the oriented film and the adhesiveness-improving layer, the adhesion between the adhesiveness-improving layer and an ink layer or laminate layer applied thereon, economical efficiency, recyclability, and environmental compatibility in production. It is particularly preferable that the film be produced by applying the aqueous dispersion of the water-dispersible resin on unstretched or uniaxially stretched film to form the adhesiveness-improving layer, stretching the obtained laminate uni- or bi-axially at least one time, and then heat-treating the resulting laminate.

Oriented syndiotactic polystyrene-base film

A heat-shrinkable polyester film having a multi-layer structure of at least two layers, among which at least one layer is a layer containing a PET bottle-recycled material, wherein a heat shrinkage percentage in a maximum shrinkage direction of a 10 cm square sample cut out from the film is 40% or higher, under the condition that the square sample is immersed in hot water of 95&#xb0; C. for 10 seconds and then immersed in water of 25&#xb0; C. for 10 seconds, to provide a heat-shrinkable polyester film which has excellent characteristics and which can be produced at a high rate, even when a PET bottle-recycled material is used.

A film of the present invention includes, as its main component, an aliphatic polyester whose primary repeating unit is represented by a general formula &mdash;O&mdash;CHR&mdash;CO&mdash; (where R denotes H or an alkyl group having a carbon number of 1-3). A three-dimensional surface roughness SRa of at least one side of the film is about 0.01 &mgr;m to about 0.1 &mgr;m. PCC value denoting the number of projections on the film per a unit of area along a mean roughness plane and the three-dimensional surface roughness SRa satisfy the following relationship: PCC value&lE;7000-45000&times;SRa.

An aliphatic polyester film comprising, as a main component, a polylactic acid having a reduced viscosity (&eegr;sp/C) of not less than 0.50 dl/g and not more than 2.50 dl/g, wherein the film has a thermal shrinkage in the longitudinal direction at 120&deg; C. of not more than 5.0% is provided. The aliphatic polyester film of the present invention is provided which is useful as a packaging film and an adhesive tape, superior in hand tearability, twist retention, processability and film forming property, and which is biodegradable when placed in a natural environment.
