Rotation driving apparatus usable with a rotary evaporator for holding a sample vessel in a water bath. The driving apparatus includes a stator supported by an elevating member mounted alongside the water bath, and a rotor mounted on the inside of the stator. A hollow support shaft is mounted within the rotor, and the sample vessel is detachably connected to one end of the support shaft. A concentrator can be connected to the other end of the support shaft, for fluid communication with the sample vessel through the hollow support shaft. The support shaft is affixed to the rotor, so that the sample vessel and concentrator are rotated as the rotor turns. A slitted disk is supported by the rotor, and a photosensor produces signals in response to relative movement of the slits. These signals are used for controlling the rotation of the driving apparatus.

Rotary evaporator with control system

A temperature controller for an incubator or an oven for keeping the temperature in a chamber at a constant level by controlling the energization of heaters. The temperature controller is provided with two temperature control systems, each of which comprising a sensor for detecting the temperature in the chamber, a thermostat for setting a temperature which is aimed at in the chamber, an error amplifier for detecting a difference between both output levels of the sensor and temperature setting means, and an electric power control circuit for controlling the energization of the heaters in correspondence with the output pulse-length of the circuit.

Temperature controller system

A pure water tank for distillation equipment comprises a casing on a water tank proper and a communicating pipe via which interiors of the casing and tank proper communicate each other. Water in the casing prevents air from entering into the pure water tank through a condenser when generation of steam is halted.

A demineralizer for treatment of raw water through at least one pure water production unit. The demineralizer comprises a purity measuring meter for measuring a purity of water in downstream of the unit, a valve for preventing water to flow to next process of the treatment from the unit and a controlling unit for actuating the valve when measuring value of the meter is smaller than a desire value.

A fume hood forming an experimental work space includes a sensor for detecting an air speed within the exhaust duct. The sensor is provided in a by-pass section which is positioned on the exhaust duct and in communication with the ambient air.
