According to one embodiment, an ultrasound diagnostic apparatus can be connected with an ultrasound probe including a plurality of elements adapted to transmit ultrasound signals and to receive reflected wave signals from a subject or from the air. The ultrasound diagnostic apparatus includes processing circuitry. The processing circuitry diagnoses states of the elements based on a feature value of the reflected wave signal. The processing circuitry also prepares, based on the states, deterioration degree information indicative of the deterioration degrees of the elements. The processing circuitry superimposes the deterioration degree information onto an ultrasound image of the subject and causes a display to display a resultant image.

Ultrasound diagnostic apparatus and method for diagnosing ultrasound probe

According to one embodiment, an ultrasound diagnosis apparatus includes an image processing circuit and a processing circuit. The image processing circuit generates an ultrasound image. The processing circuit receives a medical image acquired by another medical image diagnosis apparatus, and aligns the ultrasound image and the medical image. The processing circuit has a function of recognizing identification information held by the medical image when the ultrasound image and the medical image are displayed side by side on a display. The processing circuit also has a function of retrieving diagnostic protocol information corresponding to the identification information and displaying it on the display, and a function of performing examinations and processes based on the diagnostic protocol information displayed.

An ultrasonic diagnostic apparatus according to an embodiment includes a candidate-position extracting circuitry and a position setting circuitry. The candidate-position extracting circuitry extracts a first position through comparison of a fundamental wave component between a plurality pieces of image data collected by performing ultrasonic scanning on a subject injected with a contrast agent. The candidate-position extracting circuitry also extracts a second position through comparison of a harmonic component between the pieces of image data. The position setting circuitry sets the first position or the second position as a position of a region of interest where predetermined analysis is performed in at least one image data of the pieces of image data.

An ultrasound diagnosis apparatus comprises an insonifier, a receiver, and a processor. The insonifier is configured to insonify an ultrasound to a specimen.
