A tire position determination system is provided with: a plurality of tire air pressure transmitters each capable of transmitting a first radio signal including air pressure data and a tire ID; a plurality of axle rotation detection units each generating axle rotation information; and a receiver mounted to a vehicle body and capable of receiving the first radio signal. Each of the plurality of tire air pressure transmitters includes a specific position detection unit capable of detecting the arrival of the tire air pressure transmitter at a specific position on a trajectory of rotation of the tire, and a transmission control unit that, based on a result of detection, generates a second radio signal including data indicating the arrival of the tire air pressure transmitter at the specific position on the trajectory of rotation of the tire and the ID. The receiver includes a position determination unit that determines a tire position of the plurality of tires based on the second radio signal.

Tire position determination system

A tire position determination system includes a position determination unit that determines a tire position by obtaining axle rotation information when each of tire pressure transmitters reaches a specific position on a tire rotation path of a corresponding tire and specifying a tire that rotates in synchronism with the axle rotation information of each axle. A cycle calculator calculates a rotation cycle of each axle based on the axle rotation information. A validity determination unit determines validity of accuracy of gravity sampling based on the rotation cycle, a gravity sampling interval time of a gravitational component acting on each tire pressure transmitter, and a gravity sampling frequency in the rotation cycle. The position determination unit determines the tire position based on a determination result of the validity determination unit.

A tire position determination system including tire pressure detectors respectively attached to tires, axle rotation detectors respectively corresponding to axles, and a receiver located on a vehicle body. Each tire pressure detector detects when reaching a specific position on a rotation trajectory of the corresponding tire and transmits a radio wave including the tire ID. An ID temporary registration unit temporarily registers tire IDs to the memory that are received from the tire pressure detectors existing in a signal receivable area of the receiver. An ID registration acquires axle rotation information from each axle rotation detector whenever receiving the radio wave from each tire pressure detector, and specifies a tire ID of a tire that rotates in synchronism with rotation of each axle to determine the tire position of the tire.

A stroke end checking apparatus of a machine tool of numerical control stores an actual machine coordinates value of each of the table stroke ends on the basis of the machine reference point in detecting each of the table stroke ends which restrict a movement of the processing table in a two-dimensional direction. This apparatus also displays the relationship of the processing locus with the positions of the table stroke ends in the two-dimensional direction by the processing program of numerical control prior to actual processing on the basis of the machine corrdinates value. This enables the graphic stroke ends on the display screen to coincide with the corresponding table stroke ends, thereby permitting a rapid and accurate stroke end checking operation on the graphic display screen without the program checking operation which accompanies the transfer of the processing table in an axial direction. This apparatus also enables a highly reliable stroke end checking without allowing the processing locus of the processing table to interfere with the table stroke ends at the stage of actual processing. This arrangement can decrease working hour for preparation prior to actual processing and as a consequence improve working efficiency.

Wire cut electric discharge machining method

A wire cut-type electric discharging method of machining a work for machining a portion having a predetermined taper wherein the portion to be machined comprises a first straight section, a second straight section extending in parallel to the first straight section and an arc-shaped section located between the first and second straight sections. A vector is derived representing a positional relationship among a number of corresponding positions on two machining tracks each comprising a first straight track, an arc-shaped track and a second straight track. The first straight tracks, the arc-shaped tracks and the second straight tracks are formed by allowing the portion to be machined to intersect the upper and lower surfaces of the work. A start point and an end point of the arc-shaped track constituting one of the machining tracks are determined by displacing a start point and an end point of the arc-shaped track constituting the other machining track by a magnitude of the vector. Thus, the other machining track is determined subsequent to the determination of the one machining track. The portion to be machined is machined by displacing a wire serving as an electrode along both the machining tracks.

Wire cut-type electric discharging method

A method of calculating an amount of offset for a wire electrode in a wire cut electric discharge machining operations. The offset amount for each of machining steps from coarse machining to finish machining are calculated with reference to a data table including a plurality of offset data each including a combination of a first machining margin to be removed by the wire electrode per se and a second machining margin to be removed by an electric discharge. The method is capable of reducing the number of data required for determination of the offset amounts for plural machining steps.

Method of calculating an amount of offset in a wire cut electric

A method of restoring a wire electrode which has been broken during an electric discharge machining operation. A new wire electrode, which replaces the broken wire electrode, moves from an initial machining point to an electrode breaking point with the application of a voltage between a workpiece and the wire electrode to generate an electric discharge therebetween resulting in smooth movement of the electrode.
