A tank includes a liner and a reinforcement layer. The liner has a body portion with a cylindrical shape, and a pair of dome-shaped portions respectively provided at both ends of the body portion in an axial direction of the body portion. The reinforcement layer covers the liner and is made of a fiber reinforced resin that is a resin-impregnated fiber bundle. The reinforcement layer includes a part reinforcement layer disposed from an apex side of each of the dome-shaped portions across a boundary between the dome-shaped portion and the body portion to part of the body portion, and an outer hoop layer disposed outside the part reinforcement layer and provided so as to press an end, adjacent to the body portion, of the part reinforcement layer.

A manufacturing method for a tank including a liner and a reinforcement layer having a first layer made up of a pipe fitted to an outer surface of the liner and a second layer covering the pipe includes forming the pipe by winding first fiber reinforced resin containing a first fiber and a first resin around a mandrel and thermally curing the first fiber reinforced resin under a first condition, forming the first layer by fitting the pipe to the liner, and forming the second layer by winding a second fiber reinforced resin containing a second fiber and a second resin around the liner to cover the first layer and thermally curing the second fiber reinforced resin under a second condition. The second condition defines an upper limit temperature at which a shear strength of the first resin is kept higher than a residual stress in the pipe.

Tank and manufacturing method for tank

A cylindrical winding body is formed by winding continuous fibers impregnated with a first thermosetting resin in a circumferential direction, and the first thermosetting resin in the winding body is thermally cured. A pair of dome members is joined to both end portions of the cylinder member. A fiber bundle impregnated with a second thermosetting resin is helically wound around the joined member over the dome members, and the second thermosetting resin in the wound fiber bundle is thermally cured. A thermosetting resin containing a main agent and a granular solid curing agent is used as the first thermosetting resin, the main agent including a resin precursor and the solid curing agent chemically bonding molecules of the resin precursor together.

Method for manufacturing high-pressure tank

A high-pressure tank includes a first reinforcing layer and a second reinforcing layer. The first reinforcing layer is a layer obtained by joining dome members to respective end portions of a cylinder member, the dome members being a pair, and an inner peripheral surface of the cylinder member is exposed to a storage space that stores gas. A first resin layer covers the cylinder member between the first reinforcing layer and the second reinforcing layer. The first resin layer is less permeable to the gas in a thickness direction than the first reinforcing layer.

A method of producing a high-pressure tank including a liner and a reinforcement layer made of fiber-reinforced resin includes a process of forming at least a domed member included in the reinforcement layer. The process includes placing first fiber bundles to form a part of a protruding portion and a part of a domed main body, and placing second fiber bundles to cover the first fiber bundles. The first fiber bundles are placed, such that a fiber direction of the first fiber bundles in the protruding portion follows an axial direction of the protruding portion, and resin with which the fiber bundles are impregnated is solidified while the first fiber bundles are being placed. The second fiber bundles are placed, such that the fiber direction of the second fiber bundles intersects with the fiber direction of the first fiber bundles.

Method of producing high-pressure tank, and high-pressure tank

A method for producing a high-pressure tank capable of suppressing break of a surface resin layer due to gas pressure as well as degradation in the tank quality. The method includes winding a thermosetting resin-impregnated fiber bundle around a liner so as to form an uncured fiber-reinforced resin layer thereon, first heating in which the uncured fiber-reinforced resin layer is locally heated at a first temperature so as to leach the thermosetting resin out of the uncured fiber-reinforced resin layer to form the surface resin layer, and the surface resin layer is cured to have cracks generated therein, and second heating in which the tank is entirely heated at a second temperature lower than the first temperature, so that the fiber-reinforced resin layer and surface resin layer are entirely cured, so as to obtain the tank with the surface resin layer locally having cracks generated therein.

Method for producing high-pressure tank

A method of manufacturing a high pressure tank includes: preparing a liner; forming a fiber reinforced resin layer which is a layer of a fiber reinforced resin on an outer side of the liner, and forming a resin layer which is a layer formed of a portion of a thermosetting resin on an outer surface of the fiber reinforced resin layer; increasing a temperature of the fiber reinforced resin layer and the resin layer to a predetermined temperature which is a temperature at which the thermosetting resin is cured; causing a pressure in the liner to be regulated to be a second pressure higher than a first pressure which is a pressure in the liner in the forming of the fiber reinforced resin layer and the resin layer; and maintaining the temperature of the fiber reinforced resin layer and the resin layer at the predetermined temperature.

High pressure tank and method of manufacturing high pressure tank

The high pressure tank includes a liner, a hoop layer, and a helical layer. The liner includes a cylindrically-shaped trunk portion and dome portions disposed on both ends in an axial direction of the trunk portion. In the hoop layer, a fiber impregnated with a resin is wound in hoop winding and laminated to cover the trunk portion. In the helical layer, a fiber impregnated with a resin is wound in helical winding and laminated to cover at least the dome portions. An interface strength between the fiber and the resin on the hoop layer covering the trunk portion has a low fatigue strength and a high tensile strength compared with an interface strength between the fiber and the resin on the helical layer covering the dome portions.

High pressure tank and method for manufacturing the same

A tank including a liner; a reinforcing layer formed of fiber reinforced resin that is arranged on the liner; a label arranged on the reinforcing layer; and a surface layer formed of glass fiber reinforced resin that is arranged to cover the label. The reinforcing layer includes an inner layer, and an outer layer having a cover rate smaller than the inner layer and smaller than 100%, the cover rate being a percentage of a volume occupied by the fiber reinforced resin in space of the reinforcing layer, and the outer layer being arranged on the inner layer, and at least a part of the label is embedded in the reinforcing layer.

A high-pressure tank includes: a liner made of resin and including a tubular body portion and a pair of dome-shaped side end portions provided in the opposite ends of the body portion; and a fiber reinforced resin layer made of a fiber reinforced resin and covering an outer peripheral surface of the liner. The fiber reinforced resin layer is formed by winding a fiber bundle impregnated with a resin, and an outer peripheral surface of the fiber reinforced resin layer is covered with a resin layer made of a resin. A part of the fiber reinforced resin layer includes a protrusion portion by continuously winding the fiber bundle in an overlapped manner along the circumferential direction of the body portion the part of the fiber reinforced resin layer covering the body portion.

High-pressure tank and attachment structure thereof

Provided are a method for producing a tank with an outer surface profile that allows an elastic protective member to be easily and firmly attached to a surface thereof, and also such a tank with a protective member. The method for producing the tank, which includes winding fiber bundles containing an uncured resin component in multiple layers around the outer surface of a liner in a first pitch width so as to form a fiber reinforced resin layer and securely bonding the protective member to a portion of the outer surface thereof, further includes: winding the fiber bundles in a second pitch width wider than the first pitch width so as to form a gap with a required width where no fiber bundle is present between adjacent fiber bundles in winding the fiber bundles to form an outermost fiber bundle layer; shaving off a tip end portion of a projection made of a resin that has cured after bleeding into the gap, with a portion thereof left unshaved so as to form a sharpened portion; and securely bonding the protective member to the sharpened portion while pressing it from above.

Provided are a method for producing a tank with an outer surface profile that allows a thin label to be easily and firmly attached to a surface thereof, and also such a tank. The method for producing the tank, which includes winding fiber bundles containing an uncured resin component in multiple layers around the outer surface of a liner in a first pitch width so as to form a fiber reinforced resin layer, further includes: winding fiber bundles in a second pitch width wider than the first pitch width so as to form a gap with a required width where no fiber bundle is present between adjacent fiber bundles in winding the fiber bundles to form an outermost layer; shaving off a tip end portion of a projection made of a resin that has cured after bleeding into the gap, with a portion of the projection in a predetermined height left unshaved; and attaching a label to a surface obtained through shaving off the tip end portion.

A method of manufacturing a gas tank comprises: a step (a) of preparing a liner having a hollow cylindrical shape; a step (b) of forming a first layer by winding a first fiber bundle impregnated with resin around the liner; a step (c) of forming a second layer by winding a second fiber bundle impregnated with resin around the liner with the wound first fiber bundle in such a manner that portions of the second fiber bundle overlap each other in a direction parallel to a center axis of the liner; a step (d) of causing a section where the portions of the second fiber bundle overlap each other to get into the first layer; and a step (e) of curing the resin.

Gas tank and method of manufacturing gas tank

A tank manufacturing method includes the steps of (a) forming a reinforcing layer before hardening, (b) embedding at least a part of a label into the reinforcing layer before hardening, and (c) winding glass fiber with thermosetting resin before hardening impregnated so as to cover the label to form a surface layer before hardening. The step (a) includes (a1) forming an inner layer before hardening, and (a2) forming an outer layer before hardening having a cover rate lower than the inner layer before hardening and lower than 100%, the outer layer before hardening being arranged on the inner layer before hardening.
