The present invention overcomes image defects such as the brightness inclination or smears by reducing the line resistance of a power source bus line which supplies electricity to organic EL elements. A plurality of pixels which are arranged in a matrix array is connected to power source lines, and the plurality of power source lines are connected to a power source bus line. Both ends of the power source bus line are connected to a power source part via a FPC. By supplying electricity to both ends of the power source bus line from the power source part, the line resistance of the power source bus line can be reduced.

Organic electroluminescent display device

A display device includes a plurality of pixels, first to nth scanning lines, and a first semiconductor film. The plurality of pixels is arranged in first to nth rows and first to mth columns. The first to nth scanning lines are electrically connected to the pixels in the respective first to nth rows. The first semiconductor film overlaps with at least one of first to kth scanning lines. A display region has a cutoff intersecting the first to nth rows, and the first semiconductor film is located in the cutoff. Each of the plurality of pixels includes a light-emitting element (OLED) and a transistor electrically connected to the OLED and having a second semiconductor film. The first semiconductor film and the second semiconductor film exist in the same layer. n and m are each a natural number larger than 1, and k is a natural number smaller than n.

An organic EL display device according to an embodiment of the present invention includes: an ITO layer divided and disposed in a region where a pixel opening is formed; a capacitance insulating film disposed on the ITO layer; a lower electrode disposed on the capacitance insulating film; an organic layer disposed on the lower electrode; an upper electrode disposed on the organic layer; and a planarizing member disposed so as to soften a step of a step part of the lower electrode.

Provided is a display device having a flexible substrate including an active region and a wiring region. The active region possesses a plurality of pixels each including a display element. The wiring region has a plurality of terminals, and a plurality of wirings extends from the active region to the plurality of terminals. An insulating film included in the active region and extending from the active region has a sidewall between an edge of the flexible substrate and the wiring adjacent to the edge in the wiring region. The sidewall has a curved portion on a plane in which the plurality of wirings is arranged, and a distance between the edge and the curved portion is curvedly varied.

A display device includes a first substrate, a light-emitting element over the first substrate, a sealing film over the light-emitting element, a first insulating layer over the sealing film, a second insulating layer over the sealing film, a light-shielding layer over the second insulating layer, and a second substrate over the light-shielding layer. The first insulating layer has an opening in a region thereof overlapping a light-emitting region of the light-emitting element. The second insulating layer has an inverted-conical or inverted-pyramidal depression above the light-emitting region of the light-emitting element. The light-shielding layer is located in a region overlapping the light-emitting region of the light-emitting element.

A display device includes a flexible substrate, a plurality of pixels arranged in a first direction and a second direction intersecting the first direction, and a first wiring and a second extending in the first direction and a first insulating film, wherein the first insulating film is included between the first wiring and the second wiring, the first wiring and the second wiring include a part having elasticity, the first insulating film includes elasticity, and an interval between the first wiring and the second wiring changes as the flexible substrate stretches and contracts.
