A receptacle storage structure formed in an interior member of a sliding door movable in a front-and-rear direction of a vehicle, includes a bottom wall part and a peripheral wall part forming a storage space with an upward opening. The peripheral wall part includes a displacement wall part forming at least an upper part of a front-side wall part in the front-and-rear direction and displaceable to a front side in the front-and-rear direction. The displacement wall part is tiltable to the front side in the front-and-rear direction.

Receptacle storage structure

A storage structure for a vehicle interior includes a hollowed storage unit having an opening in the top of the storage unit. The storage unit includes a storage sidewall section surrounding a storage space for an object to be stored. The storage sidewall section includes a sidewall body portion and a sidewall member formed of a member separate from the sidewall body portion. The sidewall member is configured such that an engaging hook provided for the sidewall member is urged against an engaging recess provided for the sidewall body portion when a load is applied on the sidewall member from an outside to an inside of the storage unit.

Storage structure for vehicle interior

A press forming method is capable of improving material yield while avoiding the risk of dimensional error increase at product forming sections in blank material when carrying out press forming, and a plate material expansion device is used in this method. An end side of plate material for press forming is restricted by blank holding rollers, and pressure is applied to a middle location in the part that is restricted by a pressure roller. In this state, the plate material is transported in a rotating direction of the rollers being driven to continuously bend and extend the section receiving pressure. Provided is a driving assistance device capable of responding to situations in which an obstacle to automatic driving (which can include remote control driving) occurs in a situation other than when parking a vehicle in a garage. This driving assistance device has a peripheral environment detection unit that detects peripheral environment information, which is information pertaining to the environment around a vehicle, and an automatic driving control unit that, on the basis of the peripheral environment information, controls automatic driving wherein the vehicle is made to travel without involving driving operations by an occupant. When it is determined that automatic driving based on the peripheral environment information is not possible, the automatic driving control unit continues, by means of remote control, the automatic driving without involving driving operations by the occupant.

Driving assistance device

An automatic drive control unit implements automatic drive of a vehicle along a pre-set path without operation by a passenger while making decisions about the peripheral situation on the basis of vehicle peripheral environment information recognized by a peripheral environment information detection unit and a peripheral environment recognition unit. When the passenger's intention to make a right or left turn for changing to another path from the pre-set path is detected by a right or left turn intention input unit and a right or left turn intention detection unit, the automatic drive control unit continues the automatic drive while changing the path in a direction indicated by the right or left turn intention.

There is provided a nut having a thread portion having a female thread, a metallic plate portion having a base segment, and a hardness gradient portion provided between the thread portion and the metallic plate portion. The thread portion, metallic plate portion and the hardness gradient portion are monolithic each other, a metallographic structure of the metallic plate portion differs from a metallographic structure of the thread portion and a hardness of the hardness gradient portion is lower than a hardness of the thread portion and lowers from the thread portion toward the metallic plate portion.

The method of lap-welding of metal plates using a laser beam, wherein at least one of the metal plates is surface-treated, includes putting a metal plate on the other metal plate and forming a gap between the metal plates so that gas generated at the treated surface at the time weld can be dissipated therethrough. A surface-treated first work and a surface-treated second work are placed one on the other and clamped by a clamp with an opening of the clamp centered at the location on the first work to be welded. Then a laser beam is directed to the location to form a weld. The beam is then directed near the inner periphery of the opening to form a heated portion so that the heated portion deflects to form a gap through which the gas generated at the treated surface dissipates thereby reducing gas pressure.
