An optical distance measurer includes: a beam splitter splitting a laser beam and outputting as measurement light and reference light; a measurement light beam splitter splitting the measurement light and outputting as first measurement light and second measurement light; a reference light beam splitter splitting the reference light and outputting as first reference light and second reference light; a first optical system having a first Rayleigh length, the first optical system emitting the first measurement light to a target object; and a second optical system having a second Rayleigh length different from the first Rayleigh length, the second optical system emitting the second measurement light to the target object; a first receiver receiving the first reference light and first reflection light that is the first measurement light reflected by the target object and outputting a first receiving signal indicating the first reference light and the first reflection light; and a second receiver receiving the second reference light and second reflection light that is the second measurement light reflected by the target object and outputting a second receiving signal indicating the second reference light and the second reflection light.

Optical distance measurement device

A first optical path length from an emission surface of a first optical system to a reflection surface of a target object is calculated on the basis of first reflected light received by the first optical system and reference light generated by a splitter. A fluorescence photometer includes a photometer unit and an optical fiber unit. The photometer unit includes a light source, an excitation-side spectroscope for separating light emitted from the light source to generate excitation light, and a fluorescence-side spectroscope for separating fluorescent light emitted from a sample irradiated with the excitation light to generate monochromatic light. The optical fiber unit guides the excitation light to the sample placed outside the photometer unit and guides the fluorescent light emitted from the sample to the photometer unit and includes an image fiber for capturing an image of the sample, an excitation-side fiber arranged around the image fiber and for guiding the excitation light to the sample, and a fluorescence-side fiber arranged around the image fiber and to guide the fluorescent light emitted from the sample to the photometer unit. The excitation-side fiber and the fluorescence-side fiber are arranged to surround the image fiber.

This optical amplifying device can prevent a light surge without providing dummy light and without causing a service interruption.

Multi-degree monitoring apparatus

A transmitter generates a burst signal obtained by multiplexing signals of a first polarization and a second polarization orthogonal to each other, and including, at the beginning thereof, a pilot sequence in which the first and the second polarizations each have single frequency components of a first frequency and a second frequency different from each other.
