A switch case includes a first metal plate, a dome shape metal plate, and a second metal plate. The first metal plate includes a first ring in which a plurality of first recesses are arranged along the first ring shape, and a second ring in which a plurality of second recesses are arranged along the second ring shape. The second metal plate includes a third ring in which a plurality of third recesses are arranged along the third ring shape, and a fourth ring in which a plurality of fourth recesses are arranged along the fourth ring shape. A direction along a line passing through a center of the first ring and a center of the second ring is different from a direction along a line passing through a center of the third ring and a center of the fourth ring.

Switch case and switch

A switch case includes a metal plate having a first surface and a second surface that is at a side opposite to the first surface, and a resin case embedding a part of the metal plate. The resin case includes a housing portion having an opening disposed on a surface of the resin case. The metal plate includes a terminal portion, a contact portion, and an intermediate portion positioned between the terminal portion and the contact portion. The terminal portion is exposed from the surface of the resin case, and the intermediate portion is embedded in the resin case. The intermediate portion is provided with first and second through-hole each penetrating the first surface and the second surface. A hole diameter of the first through-hole at the second surface is larger than a hole diameter of the first through-hole at the first surface.

The switch case includes a metal plate having a first surface and a second surface that is at a side opposite to the first surface, and a resin case embedding a part of the metal plate. The resin case includes a housing portion having an opening formed on a surface of the resin case. The metal plate includes a terminal portion, a contact portion, and an intermediate portion positioned between the terminal portion and the contact portion. The terminal portion is exposed from the surface of the resin case, and the intermediate portion is embedded in the resin case. The intermediate portion is provided with at least one through-hole penetrating the first surface and the second surface. The contact portion includes a part of the first surface exposed to the housing portion of the resin case. In the at least one through-hole, the hole diameter of the at least one through-hole at the second surface is larger than the hole diameter of the at least one through-hole at the first surface.

A light shielding part includes a slit provided between a first light guide body and a second light guide body, and an attenuation part which has unevenness formed by print and is additionally provided near end sides of the first light guide body and the second light guide body. The light shielding part can prevent light from being transmitted between the first light guide body and the second light guide body. With this configuration, when illumination parts of the first and second light guide bodies are illuminated, it is possible to illuminate the illumination parts of the first and second light guide bodies at different timings without the illumination part of one light guide body being illuminated with light leaked from the other light guide body.

A small movable contact unit and a panel switch which prevent peeling from an edge even though the width between the edge of a base sheet and a movable contact is narrowed. The movable contact unit includes the movable contact and base sheet. The movable contact has a round dome shape and is made of a resilient metal sheet. The base sheet is an insulating film which adheres a dome tip of the movable contact with an adhesive applied to its undersurface for holding the movable contact at a predetermined position. A supplementary adhesive is applied to a ring non-adhesive area of the movable contact disposed near the edge of the base sheet at a portion toward the edge of the base sheet. Accordingly, the movable contact disposed near the edge is adhered to and held by the base sheet using the adhesive including the supplementary adhesive.

Movable contact unit and panel switch

Parts of a base film that correspond to respective movable contacts are formed into projections. Operating projections each including a projecting member fixed to a top surface of the base film by an adhesive resin are formed and correspond to the movable contacts, respectively. The adhesive resins have different fixed diameters.

Movable contact unit of the present invention comprises a plurality of dome-like movable contacts made of electrically conductive metal sheets capable of making an inflective action when depressed, a base film having an adhesive layer for retaining upper surfaces of the plurality of movable contacts, and a plurality of press-down projections bonded by adhesive to an upper surface of the base film in positions corresponding to center portions of the respective movable contacts, wherein the upper surface of the base film and underside surfaces of the press-down projections are each provided with a pretreated layer. The above structure has an advantage of strengthening the bonding between the adhesive and each of the pretreated layers formed on the adhering surfaces of the base film and the press-down projections, so as to provide the movable contact unit with outstanding reliability in maintaining the bonded condition for a long duration.

The movable contact, which is made of a conductive metallic sheet having resiliency, is formed into a bottom-open dome-like shape. The base film holds the movable contact through adhesive layer ( ) formed under the film. The base film has projections ( ) corresponding to each movable contact, which are formed into a shape conforming to the dome-like movable contact. The upper surface of the separator, which has been subjected to a release treatment, is affixed with the adhesive layer beneath the base film. The root portion of the each projection conforming to the shape of the movable contact is tightly affixed to the separator through the adhesive layer under the base film.

An insulating film 3 is provided with an opening 4 whose size is substantially equivalent to or slightly smaller than the outer configuration of electronic component 5. A conductive pattern 2 is formed on insulating substrate 1. After forcibly inserting the main body of electronic component 5 into said opening 4, terminals 6 are put between insulating film 3 and insulating substrate 1 and disposed in such a manner that terminals 6 are brought into contact with conductive pattern 2. Then, insulating film 3 is connected with insulating substrate 1 by fusing them in a region surrounding terminals 6, thereby firmly fixing terminals 6 of electronic component 5 on conductive pattern 2.
