A steering device includes: an outer shaft around a center axis and includes an inner space with a spline hole portion; and an inner shaft at least a part of which is disposed in the inner space. The inner shaft includes a first spline shaft portion including a synthetic resin surface and includes a shaft portion that is adjacent to one side of the first spline shaft portion, includes one end of the inner shaft in the inner space, and includes a synthetic resin surface. A distance between the center axis and the surface of the shaft portion is smaller than a distance between the center axis and the surface of the first spline shaft portion. The spline hole portion and the first spline shaft portion are spline-fitted to each other, and the outer and inner shafts are relatively movable in the axial direction.

Steering device and method for manufacturing steering device

According to an aspect, a steering device includes: an outer shaft disposed around a center axis and includes an inner space with a spline hole portion; and an inner shaft that includes a spline shaft portion including a surface disposed around the center axis, at least a part of the inner shaft being disposed in the inner space. The spline shaft portion includes a first spline shaft portion including a first surface formed of synthetic resin and includes a second spline shaft portion including a second surface formed of metal. [Problem] An object of the present invention is to provide an electric power steering apparatus that realizes weight saving and downsizing of component parts by counting and controlling the number of times of end hitting and simultaneously calculating a current limit value depending on the number of times of end hitting to limit assist. [Means for solving the problem] The present invention is an electric power steering apparatus that comprises an end hitting detection means that detects end hitting based on the steering torque and a differential steering torque obtained by differentiating the steering torque and outputs an end hitting detection signal, a counting means that counts a number 1 of times of end hitting detected by the end hitting detection means, a storage means that stores and keeps a total number of times of end hitting, and a current limit value calculating means that calculates a current limit value depending on a number 2 of times of end hitting obtained by adding the number 1 of times of end hitting from the counting means and the total number of times of end hitting from the storage means, wherein the current command value is limited based on the current limit value calculated by the current limit value calculating means.

Electric power steering apparatus

An electric motor () includes a motor case () in which a motor rotating member of which one end is opened and is formed in a cylindrical shape, and a substantially disc-shaped flange member () linked so as to close an opening of the one end of the motor case. The flange member is provided with two mounting flanges () to be fixed to the motor mounting part () of the speed reduction gear box () by outwardly swelling at an irregularly pitched position, and one first abutting flange () abutting to the motor mounting part by outwardly selling between the these two mounting flanges.

Electric power steering device

An electric motor and a control unit are juxtaposed in a speed reduction gear box. A terminal block is provided at an outer circumference of a flange proximate to a control unit of the electric motor. Terminal block surfaces of the terminal block are provided so that a plane direction faces a direction vertical to a shaft line of the electric motor. A motor side connecting terminal is held on the terminal block surface. Thus, while the buffering segmentof the bufferis elastically deformed, the nutstops with no impact. For this reason, when an electric motoris rotationally driven in a reverse direction, a feeding screw shaftrotates in the reverse direction with the normal rotation torque of the electric motor. Steering column device

Steering column apparatus

In a motor-driven steering wheel position adjustment apparatus, a nutbeing a driven member is mounted such that it can be detached from an inner column of a steering column, based on a shock load applied at the time of a secondary collision, and therefore a threaded rod of a feed screw mechanism does not have resistance with respect to displacement of the inner column in the forward direction at that time. Improvement in the protection of a driver at the time of a collision can thus be achieved, and, since an integrated member can be used for the threaded rod, silence during the position adjustment of a steering wheel by the feed screw mechanism can be ensured.
