In a lens apparatus, a CS terminal is disposed adjacent to a DGND terminal, and a DCA terminal is disposed on the other side of the CS terminal from the DGND terminal. The terminals on the accessory correspond to terminals on an imaging apparatus where a CS terminal is disposed adjacent to a DGND terminal, and a DCA terminal is disposed on the other side of the CS terminal from the DGND terminal.

Accessory and imaging apparatus

There is provided an image capturing apparatus on which, and from which, an accessory is mountable and dismountable by relative rotation in a circumferential direction. The image capturing apparatus includes a plurality of terminals disposed in a circumferential direction of a mount and configured to be used in electrical connection, and a terminal holder. Each of the plurality of terminals is electrically connected to a corresponding terminal of the accessory. A first terminal of the terminals used in communication at a first voltage level and a second terminal of the terminals used in communication at a second voltage level lower than the first voltage level are disposed on the same stage of the terminal holder. The second terminal is a terminal connected to ground via a first resistor. The first terminal is disposed adjacent to the second terminal.

A lens apparatus is mounted to a camera body by moving in a first direction as to the camera body. The camera body has a DGND terminal and multiple electric contacts, used for communication with an accessory mounted thereto, that are arrayed in order in a first direction. Contact portions of the multiple electric contacts at the lens apparatus include contact portions that are lower from an accessory-side contact holding member than a contact portion of the DGND terminal.

An accessory is attachable to and detachable from the lens apparatus and configured to communicate with the lens apparatus. The lens apparatus includes a determiner configured to determine whether update data is used for the lens apparatus or the accessory, the update data being transmittable from the image capturing apparatus and used to update stored data stored in the lens apparatus or the accessory, and a controller configured to transmit the update data to the accessory received from the image capturing apparatus when the determiner determines that the update data is used for the accessory.

The interchangeable lens is detachably attachable to an image capturing apparatus. The lens includes an electronic display to display information, and a lens controller to control an operation of the lens. The lens controller is capable of setting an operation state of the lens to a normal operation state where the interchangeable lens communicates with the image capturing apparatus and displays the information on the electronic display and to a first low power consumption state in which the interchangeable lens displays the information on the electronic display with a power consumption of the interchangeable lens lower than that in the normal operation state. The lens controller transfers the operation state from the normal operation state to the first low power consumption state, in response to receipt of a power lowering instruction for lowering the power consumption of the interchangeable lens from the image capturing apparatus.

A motor includes a rotor having a magnet, a stator having two coils, and a controller configured to control excitations of the two coils. The stator includes first and second yokes excited by the coils, and first and second rotor detectors configured to detect a magnetic flux. The first yoke is arranged for each electric angle of 360&#xb0;, and the second yoke shifts from the first yoke by an electric angle of 90&#xb0;. The first rotor position detector is arranged at the same position as the first yoke. The controller generates an excitation switching signal for each coil based on detection signals from the first and second rotor position detectors, and excites a corresponding coil, and obtains first and second delay angles.

Provided is a rocking member apparatus comprising torsion springs, a rocking member axially supported by the torsion spring, and a supporting substrate, the rocking member being rockable about the torsion spring, wherein a hard magnetic member is provided on one surface of the rocking member, a coil and a soft magnetic member, which are arranged so as to be spaced apart from the rocking member, the coil and the soft magnetic member are arranged at different positions in a direction vertical to the one surface, and the hard magnetic member is arranged at a position which is the same position as the soft magnetic member and the one surface in a direction vertical thereto, or a position which is on the side where the coil is arranged as seen from the soft magnetic member, whereby the apparatus can be made small and lightweight and allows increased deflection angle, high-speed scanning, and reduced power consumption.
