A gas control system includes a high pressure tank, a temperature sensor, a pressure sensor, an injector, and a gas control ECU. The high pressure tank includes a liner, a reinforcing layer, and a discharge hole for discharging hydrogen gas from the liner. The temperature sensor detects the temperature of the reinforcing layer or the temperature around the outside of the high pressure tank. In the implementation of the gas control method, the gas control ECU, based on temperature information detected by the temperature sensor and pressure information detected by the pressure sensor, changes the timing of starting limiting control for limiting the discharge of hydrogen gas.

Gas control system and gas control method

In a high pressure gas container including a liner, a reinforcement layer, bosses (caps), and openings (vent holes), the reinforcement layer includes an inner side reinforcement layer that surrounds the liner, and an outer side reinforcement layer that surrounds the inner side reinforcement layer, gas guide passages that guide, to the openings (vent holes), a gas leaking from the liner are formed in the inner side reinforcement layer, and the gas guide passages are voids formed between sections of a reinforcing member by arranging alongside one another and stacking the sections of the reinforcing member along the liner.

High pressure gas container

A vehicle is provided with an interior chamber apart from a passenger compartment, and a container chamber in which a high pressure gas container is accommodated. A heat generating body is accommodated in the interior chamber. Further, in the vehicle, there are formed introduction ports through which atmospheric air is introduced into the interior chamber, a communication passage that enables communication between the interior chamber and the container chamber, and a lead-out port through which the atmospheric air is led out from the container chamber. The atmospheric air that is introduced into the interior chamber through the introduction ports flows into the container chamber via the communication passage, and furthermore, is led out to the exterior of the container chamber from the lead-out port.

Vehicle equipped with high pressure gas container

A vehicle equipped with a high pressure tank has mounted in the interior of a vehicle body a high pressure tank having a resin liner and a reinforced layer, the vehicle comprising a tank chamber, a filling port, a concave portion in which the filling port and a ventilation port are disposed, a fuel lid capable of opening and closing an opening of the concave portion, and a ventilation passage that allows communication between the ventilation port and the tank chamber. When the fuel lid is opened, the ventilation port is opened to the exterior of the vehicle body, whereas when the fuel lid is closed, the ventilation port is covered by the fuel lid in a state in which the ventilation port is allowed to communicate with the exterior of the vehicle body.

Vehicle equipped with high pressure tank

Decrease speed (gas pressure decrease speed) of fuel gas pressure in an in-vehicle fuel gas container and elapsed time after the fuel gas pressure reaches a predetermined lower limit value are measured. Then, based on the gas pressure decrease speed and the elapsed time, it is determined whether or not a burping occurrence condition where a fuel gas which entered space between an inner layer and an outer layer of the in-vehicle fuel gas container is discharged to the outside of the outer layer is satisfied. If the burping occurrence condition is satisfied, at the time of filling the fuel gas in the in-vehicle fuel gas container, control to prevent detection of the fuel gas by the fuel gas detector is performed.

Method of filling fuel gas

A high pressure tank of a high pressure tank apparatus includes: a resin-made liner; a reinforced layer; a supplying/discharging hole to which a supplying/discharging flow path is connected via a connecting section; and a supplying/discharging-side lead-out hole that leads out a fluid interposing between the liner and the reinforced layer. A leaked fluid storage section is capable of storing a leaked fluid that has leaked from the connecting section. A supplying/discharging-side discharge flow path is provided independently from the leaked fluid storage section, and, when an opening/closing valve opens, discharges to the air a temporary release fluid that has been led out via the supplying/discharging-side lead-out hole. A control section, when it has judged, based on a detection result of a detecting unit, that there is a condition enabling the temporary release fluid to be discharged, opens the opening/closing valve.

High pressure tank apparatus and method of controlling same

A high pressure tank device includes a high pressure tank configured to supply/discharge a fluid through a supply/discharge channel, a first storage part, a leakage detection sensor provided in the first storage part for detecting leakage of the fluid, and a second storage part. The high pressure tank includes a resin liner, a reinforcement layer which covers an outer surface of the liner, and a cap having a supply/discharge hole. The first storage part can store a first fluid. The first fluid is at least one of the fluid that leaked from the supply/discharge channel and the fluid that leaked through the inside of the supply/discharge hole. The second storage part is provided independently from the first storage part, and can store a second fluid. The second fluid is the fluid that leaked from the outside of the supply/discharge hole.

High pressure tank device and method of detecting leakage in high pressure tank device

A high pressure tank includes: a resin liner for containing a fluid; a reinforced layer covering an outer surface of the liner; a cap including a supply/discharge hole to supply and discharge the fluid to and from the liner; a barrier layer; and an isolation wall member. The cap includes a cylindrical protrusion having the supply/discharge hole. The barrier layer covers an outer surface of the reinforced layer to block all or at least part of the fluid, and includes an opening to expose the protrusion. The isolation wall member forms a closed space accommodating the protrusion and the opening of the barrier layer.

High pressure tank

A high pressure tank structure includes a high pressure tank, a pressure relief device, and a heat-resistant plate. The high pressure tank is capable of storing a fluid on an inside of a resin-made liner covered with a reinforced layer. The pressure relief device, when heated to a certain activating temperature, reduces an internal pressure of the high pressure tank. The heat-resistant plate is integrally attached to the high pressure tank, so as to be disposed facing the reinforced layer which is positioned at least on a bottom surface side when mounted in a mounting body.

High pressure tank structure

A high pressure tank apparatus includes a high pressure tank, a leaked fluid container, and a supply/discharge side discharge flow path. The high pressure tank includes a liner made of resin, a reinforced layer that covers an outer surface of the liner, an insertion member that has formed therein a supply/discharge hole capable of communicating with an inside of the liner and the supply/discharge flow path; and a supply/discharge side cap in which are formed an insertion hole through which the insertion member is inserted and a supply/discharge side draw-out hole that draws out the fluid interposed between the liner and the reinforced layer. The supply/discharge side discharge flow path guides a temporarily released fluid that is the fluid drawn out via the supply/discharge side draw-out hole to a discharge region.

High pressure tank apparatus

A high pressure tank includes: a resin liner for containing a fluid; a reinforced layer covering an outer surface of the liner; a cap including a supply/discharge hole to supply and discharge the fluid to and from the liner; an isolation wall member; and a communication unit. The cap includes a cylindrical protrusion having the supply/discharge hole formed therein. An opening is formed in the reinforced layer to expose the protrusion. The isolation wall member encloses the protrusion and the opening, and forms a closed space. The communication unit communicates with the closed space.

A high pressure tank of a high pressure tank apparatus includes: a resin-made liner; a reinforced layer covering an outer surface of the liner; and a supplying/discharging hole to which a supplying/discharging flow path is connected via a connecting section. A storage section is capable of storing a leaked fluid that has leaked from the connecting section and a temporary release fluid that has been led out from between the liner and the reinforced layer. A control section, when an internal pressure detection value of the high pressure tank due to a pressure sensor is greater than a threshold value, judges whether the leaked fluid has occurred, based on a detection result of a sensor detecting a concentration of a hydrogen gas inside the storage section, and otherwise does based on a detection result of the pressure sensor.

High pressure tank apparatus and method of leakage judgment of same

A fuel cutoff valve has: a valve mechanism that cuts off a communication between a fuel tank and a canister; an upper space defined above the valve mechanism; a tube body that has a tube passage to be communicated with the upper space and introduces a fuel gas to the canister; a retaining chamber defined by a first fuel shielding portion and a second fuel shielding portion to retain a liquid fuel stored in the upper space; a liquid reservoir portion defined between the tube body and the first fuel shielding portion to store the liquid fuel flowing out of the retaining chamber; and a communication portion through which the retaining chamber communicates with the liquid reservoir portion; wherein the communication portion is formed at a position deviated from the tube body so as not to overlap the tube body, when the tube body is seen in its axial direction.

Fuel cutoff valve

A closed tank system includes: a fuel tank; a canister adapted to adsorb evaporative fuel generated in the fuel tank; a fill-up limiting valve provided inside the fuel tank so as to be communicated with the evaporative fuel discharge passage and adapted to operate to close the evaporative fuel discharge passage when a fuel level reaches a predetermined full tank liquid level; a shut-off valve adapted to operate to open or close the evaporative fuel discharge passage; a fuel remaining amount sensor adapted to detect a remaining amount of fuel; and a hardware processor that causes a control section to carry out control for allowing the shut-off valve to be opened or closed. The hardware processor causes the control section to inhibit the control for allowing the shut-off valve to be opened when an engine is in operation and the detected remaining amount of fuel exceeds a predetermined threshold.

Closed tank system

A fuel shutoff valve is attached to the upper portion of a fuel tank and shuts off the communication between the inside of the fuel tank and a canister by opening and closing a vapor passage for communicating between the fuel tank and the canister. The fuel shutoff valve is configured with a first valve mechanism having a coil disposed on the inner periphery of a cylindrical valve chamber and a movable core, which enables to communicate between the fuel tank and the canister by lowering the level of the movable core, and a second valve mechanism which enables to communicate between the fuel tank and the outside thereof by shifting the level of the valve body which is disposed inside the movable core due to the pressure from the inside of the fuel tank or the outside thereof.
