A vehicle seat apparatus includes a lower arm, an upper arm being rotatable relative to the lower arm in a front-rear direction of a vehicle seat, a pressing member fixed at the upper arm, a base member fixed at the lower arm, a first link supported by the base member so as to be rotatable and having a stopper pin positioned on a rotation path of the pressing member when a walk-in operation is performed and positioned out of the rotation path of the pressing member when a tilt-down operation is performed; and a second link rotatably supported by the first link and maintaining the stopper pin so as to be one of on and out of the rotation path of the pressing member, the second link being provided in a manner where a rotational axis thereof is coaxial to a central axis of the stopper pin.

Vehicle seat apparatus

A seat device is provided, in which a locking condition of an upper rail () to a lower rail () is released and a seat can be moved in forward direction when a seatback is turned down in forward direction due to a walk in operation. A turning bracket () is pivotally supported on the side portion of a lower arm () fixed to the upper rail (). An actuating lever () for actuating a lock mechanism is fixed to a turning pin () for supporting a turning bracket (). A cable () is connected to the turning bracket (), a hook member () is pivotally supported on the side portion of the lower arm (), and a detecting member () is supported thereby in a turning way. A projecting portion () of a hook member () can be engaged with or disengaged from a notch portion () of a turning bracket ().

Seat device

A seat slide apparatus for a vehicle includes a lower rail assembled to a vehicle seat, an upper rail slidably engaging with the corresponding upper rail for supporting the vehicle seat, a loop-shaped release handle supported by the upper rail on its end portion for releasing the engagement between the upper rail and the lower rail, and a bracket fixed to the upper rail for detachably supporting the release handle, an opening portion formed on the bracket allowing the end portion of the release handle to pass there through, and a flexible tongue formed on the bracket and adapted to be flexibly movable in vertical direction for engaging with a stopper piece provided at the end portion of the release handle. The current invention uses a technical device for detaching the end portion of the release handle from the bracket fixed to the upper rail for supporting the end portion of the release handle.

Seat slide apparatus for a vehicle

A seat device equips a walk-in mechanism and a fold down mechanism (a seatback is turned down with large angle so as to attain the flat condition). These mechanisms can be operated selectively using a simple operation without using plural levers. A base bracket of the seat device is fixed to a lower arm. The base bracket has a stopper and pivotally supports the first link member and the second member in a freely turning way. An upper arm has a contact portion. If the upper arm is turned down in the forward direction for the walk-in operation, the contact portion gets in contact with an intervening member of the first link member so as not to turn further down in the forward direction. In the case that the seatback is turned to the flat condition, the intervening member is moved towards the outside portion of the locus of movement of the contact portion. Consequently, the contact portion of the upper arm can be turned down on a large scale without getting in contact with the intervening member.
