In a transmission/reception selection switch, a first diode is arranged in series with a transmission signal line and a second diode is arranged in shunt with a reception signal line. A first current route where a direct current passes through the first diode is connected in parallel to a second current route where a direct current passes through the second diode. When a predetermined positive voltage is applied to a control terminal, the diodes are turned ON and a direct current flows through, in order, the control terminal, a resistor, an inductor, the diode, a strip line, and an inductor), and a direct current flows through, in order, the control terminal, the resistor, the second diode, and the inductor.

Low-voltage control high-frequency switch and composite high-frequency component

A high-frequency switch is constructed by connecting a first diode and a second diode that function as switching elements, inductors, capacitors, and resistors. One end of the resistor is connected between the first diode and the second diode, and the other end of the resistor is connected to the ground. Thus, charges accumulated in the diodes in the ON states are immediately released to ground via the resistor. Accordingly, quick switching from the transmission mode to the reception mode by switching of a control power supply terminal from ON to OFF is achieved.

High-frequency switch

A composite high-frequency component includes a diplexer arranged to separate/combine transmission/reception signals in frequency bands of a plurality of communication systems, transmit/receive switches, filters, and a balanced-unbalanced reception signal switch, and a matching circuit. The balanced-unbalanced reception signal switch includes a reception signal switch and balanced-unbalanced filters. A stripline in the transmit/receive switch and a stripline in the reception signal switch are provided on the same layers, and the matching circuit including capacitors is arranged between the transmit/receive switch and the reception signal switch.

Composite high-frequency component and mobile communication apparatus

A high-frequency composite component for selectively switching a GSM-system signal path and a DCS-system signal path for a signal transmitted to or received from an antenna terminal by a diplexer. Transmission-side input terminals and reception-side balanced output terminals to be switched by high-frequency switches are included in the GSM and the DCS systems. Matching elements include inductors and capacitors that are inserted between the reception-side balanced output terminals and the output side of surface acoustic wave filters.

High-frequency composite component

A balanced/unbalanced filter module includes a switch including a first port that inputs and outputs unbalanced signals in a first frequency band, a second port that inputs and outputs unbalanced signals in a second frequency band, and a third port that inputs and outputs unbalanced signals in these two frequency bands. The switch switches a signal path. An unbalanced I/O port of a first filter that passes signals in the first frequency band is connected to the port. A port of a second filter that passes signals in the second frequency band is connected to the port. Individual balanced I/O ports of each of the first and second filters are connected to first and second branch ports with substantially the same electrical length. A balance coil for impedance matching is provided between the first and second branch ports.

Balanced/unbalanced filter module and communication apparatus

A high-frequency switching module in which a high-frequency switch including a diode, which functions as a switching device, and a high-frequency filter including inductors and a capacitor are integrated with each other. The inductor defining a &#x3c0;-type high-frequency filter is connected directly and in series to the diode. By inserting the inductor, the cut-off frequency of a Chebyshev-type low-pass filter circuit produced when the diode is turned ON can be shifted to a lower frequency side, and also, the ripple can be suppressed to a small level.

High-frequency switching module and frequency-characteristic adjusting method for high-frequency circuit

A high frequency switch includes electrically connected switching elements, such as a first diode, a second diode, inductors, capacitors, and a resistor. A diode having a smaller charge capacity in the ON state is used as the first diode, while a diode having a larger charge capacity in the ON state is used as the second diode. That is, the first and second diodes utilize different part number diodes. A diode part number having a smaller charge capacity is used as the first diode, while a diode part number having a larger charge capacity is used as the second diode. Alternatively, the charge capacity of diodes that belong to the same lot may be measured and classified, so that a smaller charge capacity diode is used as the first diode, while a larger charge capacity diode is used as the second diode.

High frequency composite component

A high frequency composite electronic component includes a laminate and a metallic case. The laminate is produced by laminating plural ceramic green sheets and includes circuit elements such as capacitors or other electronic elements therein. A plurality of grounding external electrodes disposed on a side surface of the laminate are connected to a terminal of the metallic case via soldering. The external electrodes are formed by forming a plurality of via-holes having conductive members applied therein in ceramic green sheets as mother sheets along predetermined cut lines provided thereon, and cutting a laminate of the mother sheets along the cut lines to cut the via-holes and expose the conductive members applied in the via-holes onto the side surface of the laminate.
