A remote operation system includes a server and a client. In the server, a video-audio data conversion-into-common-format section converts data in a format unique to application software into data in a common format. A video-audio distributing section outputs audio-accompanying video data and moving-picture area data from the data in the common format. A section, which processes the transmission of the data of audio-accompanying moving-picture, adds a synchronizing data to video data and audio data, thereby obtaining a data stream. A video-audio data converting section outputs data including the moving-picture area data, operation-related audio display data. A remote control section outputs this data and the data stream. The client controls the application software of the server in response to an operation related to the video and the audio obtained from those data.

Wireless remote operation system

In a power control apparatus for controlling the power consumption of each of resources for running an application program in an electrical apparatus for running the application program, an operation status detector detects operation statuses of the application program. A load determinator determines a load on the resource in the detected operation status of the application program. A resource operation controller controls the operation of each of the resources such that the resource is operated by a load determined by the load determinator. As a result, the resource is driven by power properly required to run the application program depending on the operation status of the application program.

Power control method and apparatus therefor

When an instructor such as a finger moves along a flat surface of a touch-sensitive tablet, a touch-sensitive tablet generates an input signal indicative of information of points touched with the instructor on the flat surface. A frame is provided around the touch tablet with a predetermined gap measured from the edge thereof. A maximum moveable range of the instructor of the flat surface is defined by the frame. The predetermined gap is determined such that the instructor can touch the periphery of the flat surface even when the movement of the instructor is restricted by the frame.
