An abnormality detection support device, suitable for a case where rescue operations are made under situations that visibility is disturbed by smoke due to fire, includes an infrared camera, a display which, at least when the infrared camera is in use, comes to be positioned in front of a user's eyes and reproduces an image taken by the infrared camera thereon and a face protector or a helmet, on which the infrared camera and the display are provided, and the infrared camera and the display are arranged to be within an outline of the user's head in a front view when the device is put on the user. The present invention can, therefore, provide the abnormality detection support device which enables an operator to work with both hands available while directly watching the infrared image even under a circumstance that smoke or the like due to occurrence of fire disturbs the field of vision of the operator, and has excellent usability.

An image synthesis apparatus includes a right infrared camera and a left infrared camera; a right visible light camera and a left visible light camera; and a first image synthesis processing device for synthesizing data output from the right infrared camera and from the left infrared camera and data output from the right visible light camera and from the left visible light camera so that a three-dimensional thermal image and a three-dimensional visible light image are observed by an observer as overlapping each other.

Image synthesis apparatus

A broad-band amplifier circuit is furnished with a plurality of amplifiers with a coupling capacitor being interposed between every two adjacent amplifiers. Each coupling capacitor has a capacity large enough to prevent adverse effect of external noise. Accordingly, not only the passing of a signal having a low frequency is allowed, but also an element operable in a high frequency, such as a Schottky transistor, can be provided in each amplifier as a transistor. At least the transistor of the amplifier in the last stage is connected to a diode, so that the charges accumulated between its collector and base while the amplifier stays on are fed back and eliminated. Accordingly, the broad-band amplifier circuit can carry out a flat amplifying operation over a wide range from low to high frequency bands, and therefore, can be used for all the ASK method, IrDA1.0 method, and IrDA1.1 method. Consequently, not only the manufacturing cost, but also the size of the broad-band amplifier circuit can be reduced.
