Higher performance including better performance in focusing is achieved. A first lens group always fixed and having positive refractive power, and a first focus lens group that moves in an optical axis direction at the time of focusing from an object at infinity to an object at close range are included in order from the object side to the image side. A last lens group always fixed and having negative refractive power, and a second focus lens group that moves in an optical axis direction at the time of focusing from an object at infinity to an object at close range are included in order from the image side to the object side. At least one of the first focus lens group or the second focus lens group has negative refractive power. An aperture stop is disposed between the first focus lens group and the second focus lens group. Conditional Expression (1) below is satisfied:0.4<<1.0  (1)

Imaging lens and imaging apparatus

An imaging lens with better performance including in focusing is disclosed. A first lens group always fixed and having positive refractive power, and a first focus lens group that moves in an optical axis direction at the time of focusing are included in order from the object side to the image side. A last lens group always fixed and having negative refractive power, and a second focus lens group that moves in an optical axis direction at the time of focusing are included in order from the image side to the object side. At least one of the first focus lens group or the second focus lens group has negative refractive power. The conditional expression 0.4<f/ff<1.0, where f: the focal length of the whole system, and ff: the combined focal length from the first lens group to the first focus lens group, is preferably satisfied.

There is provided a lens unit equipped with multiple focus lenses provided inside a lens barrel, multiple actuators corresponding to the respective multiple focus lenses and configured to move each of the multiple focus lenses inside the lens barrel, and a control circuit configured to control movement of the multiple focus lenses according to different rules between a case of a position of each of the multiple focus lenses being inside a designated range of satisfactory optical performance, and a case of being outside the range.

Lens unit, imaging device, and control method

A zoom lens according to the disclosure includes a first lens group having positive refractive power, a second lens group, a third lens group, a fourth lens group, a fifth lens group, and a sixth lens group. The first lens group includes a front side first lens group fixed with respect to an image plane upon zooming from a wide end to a telephoto end and focusing from an infinite object to a short-distance object, and a rear side first lens group having positive refractive power. The second, third, and fifth lens groups travel along an optical axis upon zooming. The fourth and sixth lens groups are fixed with respect to the image plane in an optical axis direction upon zooming. At least two lens groups including the rear side first lens group travel along the optical axis upon focusing.

Zoom lens and optical instrument

A wide-angle lens includes a first lens group, an aperture stop, a second lens group, and a third lens group. The first lens group has positive refractive power. The second lens group has negative refractive power. The third lens group has positive refractive power. The first lens group, the aperture stop, the second lens group, and the third lens group are disposed in order from the object side toward image side. The first lens group includes a negative lens and at least one cemented lens, the negative lens being disposed on most-object side and has a convex surface facing the object side. The following conditional expression is satisfied,0.5&#x3c;1/&#x3c;1.0&#x2003;&#x2003;(1)where f1 is a focal distance of the first lens group in a condition that infinite is in focus, and f is a focal distance of a whole system in the condition that the infinite is in focus.

Wide-angle lens and imaging unit

A variable focal length lens system includes: first to fourth lens groups alternately having negative and positive refractive power; and an aperture stop; the first to fourth lens group being arranged to allow a space between the first and second lens groups to be decreased and spaces between the second and third lens groups and between the third and fourth lens groups to be varied, the third lens group travelling to allow image-plane position variation caused by subject position variation to be compensated and satisfying a following conditional expression,0.05&#x3c;3&#x3c;0.5&#x2003;&#x2003;(1) where Da is a distance from the aperture stop to a most image-sided lens surface in the third lens group in the wide end state, and R3is a curvature radius of the most-image sided lens surface in the third lens group.

Variable focal length lens system and image pickup unit

An imaging lens includes a first lens group having positive refractive power, a second lens group having negative refractive power, and a third lens group having positive refractive power. The first to third lens groups are arranged in order from an object side toward an image side. A focusing operation is performed through allowing the second lens group to travel along an optical axis. The following conditional expressions are satisfied,0.40&#x3c;&#x3c;0.65&#x2003;&#x2003;(1)0.90&#x3c;3/&#x3c;3.50&#x2003;&#x2003;(2)where Da is an on-axial distance from an object-sided surface of the second lens group to an image-sided surface of the third lens group in an infinite focus state, TL is an on-axial total length of the imaging lens, f3 is a focal length of the third lens group, and f is a total focal length of the imaging lens in the infinite focus state.

An internal focus lens includes sequentially from an object side, a first lens group having a positive refractive power; a second lens group having a negative refractive power; and a third lens group having a positive refractive power. The first lens group includes an anti-vibration lens formed by a negative lens that is moved in an orthogonal direction with respect to an optical axis to correct image blur consequent to optical system vibration, and further includes an aperture stop disposed farther on an image side of the first lens group than the anti-vibration lens. The second lens group is moved along the optical axis to perform focusing.

Internal focus lens

An imaging lens includes: a first lens group; a second lens group having positive refractive power; and a third lens group having negative refractive power, which are arranged in order from an object side, wherein the first lens group includes a front lens group having a negative lens in a most object side, a diaphragm, and a rear lens group having positive refractive power, wherein the second lens group includes a first lens having negative refractive power, a second lens having positive refractive power, and a third lens having positive refractive power in an order from the object side, and wherein, when focusing is performed, the second lens group is moved in an optical axis direction.

A zoom lens includes: a first lens group having negative refractive power; a diaphragm; a second lens group having positive refractive power; a third lens group having negative refractive power; and a fourth lens group having positive refractive power, arranged in order from an object side. The first lens group is configured by at least one negative lens and one positive lens. The third lens group is configured by one negative lens. Then power is changed from a wide angle end state to a telephoto end state, the first, second, and third lens groups are moved in the direction of an optical axis, and the fourth lens group is fixed. When focusing, the third lens group is moved in the direction of the optical axis so as to satisfy the following Conditional Equations,&#x2212;2.8&#x3c;3/&#x3c;&#x2212;0.5&#x2003;&#x2003;(1)2.0&#x3c;4/&#x3c;15.0&#x2003;&#x2003;(2).

Zoom lens and imaging apparatus

An internal focus lens comprising sequentially from an object side a first lens group having a positive refractive power; a second lens group having a negative refractive power; and a third lens group having a positive refractive power. The second lens group is configured by a simple lens element and is moved along an optical axis to perform focusing. The internal focus lens satisfies condition expressions (1) 0.48&#x3c;|f3|/f&#x3c;0.73 and (2) 1.05&#x3c;Fno&#xd7;f1/f&#x3c;1.42, where f3 is the focal length of the third lens group, f is the focal length of the entire optical system, f1 is the focal length of the first lens group, and Fno is the F number of the entire optical system.
