An electric driver device provides a partial redundancy system that is at least partially redundant, or a full redundancy system. The electric driver device has a plurality of circuit systems. The electric driver device includes, in at least a part of the electric circuit, a common circuit extending over at least two of a plurality of circuit systems. The common circuit includes a power supply and/or a connection line that complements signals. At least one of the power supply circuit, an interface circuit, a power supply cutoff circuit, and a connector is not separated and independent from each other for each redundant circuit system.

Electric driver device

A motor drive device for driving a motor, which has a plurality of winding pairs, includes a plurality of inverter units for the plurality of winding pairs. The inverter units are coupled in parallel to a power source. A plurality of capacitors provided for the plurality of inverter units, and a plurality of power relays are disposed between the power supply and the inverter units. In particular, a power relay is provided for each of the inverter units. A control unit detects a short failure of the power relay, and simultaneously turns ON the power relays that do not have a short failure. In such manner, damage to the power relays as well as damage to other electronic components of the motor driver device due to a large electric current is prevented.

Motor drive device

In a motor driving device, a first relay portion is connected between a power source and an inverter portion, a second relay portion is connected between the first relay portion and the inverter portion, and a motor relay portion is connected between the inverter portion and a winding group of a motor. Inverter pre-driver circuits respectively drive switching elements of the inverter portion. A first pre-driver circuit drives the first relay portion. A second pre-driver circuit drives the second relay portion and the motor relay portion. A controller controls driving of the inverter portion, the first relay portion, the second relay portion, and the motor relay portion, and detects a failure of the first relay portion, the second relay portion, and the motor relay portion.

Motor driving device and electric power steering apparatus including motor driving device

A power module of a drive unit of an electric motor is formed by inserting multiple power transistors, which supply a drive current to a coil wound around a stator or a rotor, and wirings connecting the power transistors in a resin, which is formed in the shape of a plate, by resin molding. Electronic components such as aluminum electrolytic capacitors, a choke coil and a first connector are provided in a board thickness direction of the power module and are electrically connected with the wirings of the power module. Thus, a construction for electrically connecting the wirings of the power module formed by the resin molding and the electronic components can be simplified.

Drive unit of electric motor and motorized equipment using the drive unit

A heat sink is provided on a motor. A power module is provided on the heat sink to switch current supply to motor coils. A control circuit substrate is arranged on the heat sink and connected electrically to the power module. A power circuit substrate is connected electrically to the power module and arranged at an opposite side of the control circuit substrate relative to the heat sink. A control circuit connector is electrically connected to the control circuit substrate. A power circuit connector is electrically connected to the power circuit substrate. The control circuit connector and the power circuit connector are arranged between the control circuit substrate and the power circuit substrate.

Drive apparatus

A telephone apparatus having a calling card support function is disclosed. The telephone apparatus includes: a card information storage section for storing therein card information on a calling card; a controller for making a telephone call with use of the card information stored in the card information storage section, by using telephone communication means; and a card information reception section for receiving the card information stored in a cellular phone from the cellular phone. The controller allows the card information reception section to receive the card information stored in the cellular phone from the cellular phone. The controller records the received card information in the card information storage section when the card information reception section receives the card information stored in the cellular phone from the cellular phone.

Telephone apparatus having calling card support function and handsfree apparatus

While a handsfree device being multi-profile compatible is maintaining a connection for a handsfree profile (HFP) with a mobile phone handset, the handsfree device cuts off the connection for the HFP based on a user's operation. After cutting off, the handsfree device establishes a connection for a dial-up network profile (DUN), and subsequently transmits a request for a connection for the HFP while maintaining the connection for the DUN. Subsequently, the handsfree device determines whether the handset is multi-profile compatible according to the response to the request from the handset. Based on the determination that the handset is multi-profile compatible, the handsfree device executes the processes for the HFP while maintaining the connection for the DUN.

Bluetooth communicator

Immediately after making connection of a Bluetooth communications link with a cellular phone, an in-vehicle handsfree apparatus makes connection of a handsfree phone call protocol while not making connection of a massage access profile. When a start trigger that an arrival of an electronic mail from a communications network then arises in the cellular phone, the in-vehicle handsfree apparatus makes connection of the message access profile with the cellular phone, thereby enabling a transfer of information of the mail from the cellular phoneby using a data transfer function of the message access profile if the cellular phone undergoing the arrival of the mail is a model compliant with the message access profile.

A handsfree device in communication with a remote communication device by one of wireless communication and wired communication for establishing a handsfree call includes a call interruption detection unit for detecting a call interruption by a second call while the remote communication device is involved in a first call and a response command transfer unit for transferring a response command to the remote communication device in response to the call interruption when the call interruption is detected by the call interruption detection unit.

Handsfree device

A telephone apparatus is disclosed. The telephone apparatus acquires card information on multiple calling cards from a communication terminal and stores the acquired card information. The telephone apparatus performs, via the communication terminal, telephone communication with a communication counterpart by using a first one of the calling cards stored in the telephone apparatus. When the balance on the first one of the calling cards is changed into zero balance and when the telephone communication link is forcibly disconnected, the telephone apparatus causes the communication terminal to redial by using a second one of the calling cards in order to restart the telephone communication with the same communication counterpart.

A connection of a hands-free apparatus to a cellular phone is established through a hands-free profile, and the connection of the hands-free apparatus to the cellular phone through the hands-free profile is switched from the cellular phone to another cellular phone when a data communication is triggered. Then, the hands-free apparatus establishes another connection to the cellular phone through a dial-up network profile so that a hands-free call by the hands-free apparatus is appropriately handled.

Bluetooth communicator, short range wireless communicator and communication method

A hands-free system, through which a driver communicates without using hands with an on-board mobile phone such as a cell phone, is mounted on an automotive vehicle. Plural speakers including a center speaker installed in an instrument panel and door speakers each installed in each door are mounted on the vehicle. Whenever the center speaker is mounted on the vehicle, the center speaker is selected as a speaker from which voices transmitted from the mobile phone are outputted. Only when the center speaker is not mounted, the door speakers are selected. When the center speaker is selected, the voices transmitted from the mobile phone can be heard from a direction to which a driver's eye line is directed. Accordingly, the driver is able to hear the speaker sounds from the natural direction for him/her.

Hands-free communication system for use in automotive vehicle

A communication apparatus uses a short range communication function for displaying a decrease of remaining battery power of a cellular phone that is in communication with the communication apparatus based on a report from the cellular phone when the remaining battery power decreases to a predetermined threshold.
