A housing unit includes a terminal fitting and a housing in which the terminal fitting is inserted into an accommodating chamber in a predetermined insertion direction and accommodated therein. The terminal fitting has a first terminal portion in which a plurality of first tab portions extend, a second terminal portion in which a plurality of second tab portions extend, a connecting portion connecting the first and second terminal portions, and a contact portion connected to a first tab coupling portion and to be connected to an external terminal, and is formed of a continuous conductor plate. The terminal fitting includes a heat sink portion extending from at least one of the connecting portion and a second tab coupling portion in a direction opposite to the insertion direction. At least a part of the heat sink portion is exposed to an outside of the housing.

A connector includes a terminal fitting having a terminal portion in which a plurality of tab portions extends and a contact portion, a housing having a plurality of accommodating chambers in which the tab portions are accommodated, and a plurality of terminal-attached electric wires. The terminal fitting includes a first locking portion provided on the tab portions located from one end of the tab continuous portion to an intermediate position thereof, and a second locking portion provided on the tab portions located from the intermediate position to another end thereof. The first locking portion has a relatively large holding force for holding the tab portion in the accommodation chamber compared to the second locking portion. The counterpart terminal includes a tubular box portion and an opening provided on a side wall of the box portion and having a width through which the tab portion is able to pass.

Connector with a terminal fitting

A terminal fitting comprising: a first terminal portion in which first tab portions, extending from a first tab continuous connecting portion, are arranged; a second terminal portion in which second tab portions, extending from a second tab continuous connecting portion, are arranged; a connecting portion connecting the first and second terminal portions; and a contact portion to be connected to an external terminal. The terminal fitting has a three-dimensional shape in which the terminal fitting having a preliminary shape is bent at the connecting portion. In the three-dimensional shape, the first terminal portion and the second terminal portion are three-dimensionally arranged to be connected at the connecting portion. In the preliminary shape, the first terminal portion and the second terminal portion are arranged to be fitted to each other, and the first tab continuous connecting portion and the second tab continuous connecting portion are connected at the connecting portion.

Terminal fitting, connector and method for manufacturing terminal fitting

A rubber plug has a tubular sealing function portion that allows an electric wire to pass through the tubular sealing function portion and a tubular low-rigidity portion that allows the electric wire to pass through the low-rigidity portion. The sealing function portion exhibits sealing performance by elastically coming into close contact with the inner peripheral surface of the terminal accommodating chamber and the outer peripheral surface of the electric wire. The low-rigidity portion has a lower rigidity than the sealing function portion, and is arranged rearward of the sealing function portion.

A connector includes a housing formed with a L-shape in a side view having a connection portion capable of fitting to a mating connector, a terminal mounted on the housing by inserting a connection terminal portion into a terminal accommodation portion of the connection portion, an electric wire connected to the electric wire of the terminal and led out from the housing, a ferrite core mounted on the electric wire and assembled from the rear side of the housing, and a cover mounted on the rear surface of the housing and covering the terminal and the ferrite core. The cover includes a recessed portion, which receives an end portion of the ferrite core inclined by an external impact, on a facing surface facing the ferrite core assembled to the housing.

Connector

A vehicle inspection device includes an inspection processing section and a communication processing section. The inspection processing section includes an inspection control section that generates a first communication request or a second communication request based on an inspection program, a communication request transmission buffer that stores the first communication request, and a transmission buffer for high-speed communication that stores the second communication request. The communication processing section transmits the first communication request to an ECU to be inspected and transmits the second communication request to an ECU on which writing is to be performed.

Vehicle inspection device and vehicle inspection method

A gear position detecting device includes a rotation angle sensor for detecting a turn position of a shift drum and a position sensor for detecting that the shift drum is at a neutral position. The rotation angle sensor is a volume sensor that linearly increases or decreases an output voltage according to a turning motion of the shift drum. The neutral position is set in such a way as not to overlap a dead zone. It is determined according to an output signal of the rotation angle sensor and an output signal of the position sensor whether the shift drum is at a reverse gear position located between the neutral position and the dead zone or a fifth gear position turned by 360 degrees from the reverse gear position. Such detecting device detects a gear position with a high accuracy even if the number of gear positions are increased.

A battery pack includes: an upper case having an upper-case side flange and a lower case having a lower-case side flange opposing the upper case-side flange, wherein the battery pack is provided with an upper case-side depending wall that depends from an outer edge of the upper case-side flange beyond the lower case-side flange, with the upper case-side depending wall being spaced from an outer edge of the lower case-side flange, and a lower case-side depending wall that depends from the outer edge of the lower case-side flange.

In a rough terrain vehicle, at a time of preparing to start movement, in a case that a left paddle switch and a right paddle switch are operated together with an accelerator pedal, an ECU disengages a clutch of an automatic transmission, and causes an output of an engine to increase. On the other hand, at a time of starting movement, in a case that the left paddle switch and the right paddle switch are returned to their initial positions, the ECU engages the clutch and transmits the output of the engine from the engine to vehicle wheels via the automatic transmission, to thereby rapidly start movement of the rough terrain vehicle.

Rough terrain vehicle

The four wheel vehicle uses an electric motor () for driving the vehicle and a battery unit () for supplying electric power to the electric motor. The lower chassis () of the vehicle includes a pair of front side frames () extending linearly in a fore and aft direction with an upward slant and a progressively increasing lateral mutual spacing from a front part thereof to a rear part thereof and a plurality of cross members () connecting the front side frames to each other. The battery unit is positioned between the two front side frames such that the battery unit overlaps with the front side frames in side view. Thereby, the battery unit can be effectively protected from side impacts.

A battery pack for an electric motor comprises a base plate, a plurality of rectangular battery modules positioned laterally one next to another, a securing strap provided for each battery module and including an upper portion extending along an upper surface of the corresponding battery module in a fore and aft direction, a front portion extending downward from a front end of the upper portion along a front surface of the corresponding battery module, a rear portion extending downward from a rear end of the upper portion along a rear surface of the corresponding battery module, a front mounting portion formed in a lower end of the front portion and secured to the base plate, a rear mounting portion formed in a lower end of the rear portion and secured to the base plate. A connecting plate extends laterally and is fixedly connected to the securing straps.

A powertrain structure includes a drive shaft and a driven shaft disposed coaxially, with end surfaces opposed to each other, and a torque damper interposed between the shafts and having half bodies fitted to a shaft end parts of the drive and driven shafts, with the half bodies joined together by engagement of opposed, outer circumferential end surfaces thereof and a damper spring interposed therebetween such that it straddles drive-side and driven-side spring recesses respectively formed in the opposed surfaces of the half bodies. One of two fitting parts provided between the half bodies and the respective shafts has a smaller clearance and the other has an larger clearance in the radial direction of the shafts.

A connector includes at least two terminal fittings, a connector housing including terminal accommodating chambers which respectively accommodate the at least two terminal fittings, and a shorting terminal electrically connecting the at least two terminal fittings to each other. An electrical connection of the at least two terminal fittings is released by a mating connector which is fitted on the connector. Abutment portions provided at front ends of shorting contact pieces of the shorting terminal project from a front surface of the connector housing. A front surface of the mating connector facing a front surface of the connector housing presses against the abutment portions and deflects the shorting contact pieces in a rear direction of the connector so as to release shorting of the at least two terminal fittings.

Provided is a connector that has a male connector that includes a male terminal and a locking section, an aligning plate that engages with the male terminal in order to protect the male terminal, that is freely movable with respect to the male terminal, that is provided with an engaged portion and a locked portion that is provided to a surface on the proximal end side of the male terminal, and that is configured so that movement toward the proximal end side of the male terminal is blocked in a state in which the aligning plate is provisionally mounted on the male connector; and a female connector that has an engaging portion that engages with the engaged portion of the aligning plate when the female connector is removed from the male connector, and that moves together with the aligning plate in a direction leading away from the male connector.
