A rotary atomizing coating device includes a rotary atomizing head. The rotary atomizing head includes a first bell cup, a second bell cup, and an inner member. The outer peripheral surface of the inner member is provided with paint discharge holes. The paint discharge holes communicate with a paint supply passage. The first bell cup includes a plurality of through holes. The plurality of through holes are disposed near the paint discharge holes. The plurality of through holes communicate with the second bell cup.

Rotary atomizing coating device

An electrostatic coating device is provided with a housing, which has a cascade housing section that houses a cascade, and a motor housing section that houses an air motor. A clearance between the cascade and the inner wall of a first housing hole forms a first air flow passage. Furthermore, an annular clearance between the air motor (specifically, an air turbine) and the inner wall of a motor chamber forms a second air flow passage. The first air flow passage and the second air flow passage are communicated with each other via, for instance, a third air flow passage that includes a first communication passage, a circular recessed section, a second communication passage, and a third communication passage.

Electrostatic coating device

A rotary atomization type painting device includes an atomization head that supplies paint from a paint supply machine. The atomization head has an outer member that includes a truncated conical body, and an inner member that is disposed inside the outer member. The inner member has an annular protruding part that protrudes toward a large diameter side opening. The paint is lead out from a plurality of lead-out holes of the inner member to a root of the annular protruding part. At a root position in an axial direction, an angle in a lead-out direction of each of the lead-out holes with respect to an axis, and an angle of an inner surface of the annular protruding part with respect to the axis are made equal.

Rotary atomization type painting device and atomization head

The rotary atomizing coating device () is provided with a spray head () formed of a tube body having a circular truncated conical shape and constituted to spray, from an opening end on the large diameter side, a coating introduced from an opening end on the small diameter side thereof, and a coating supply machine () engaged with the spray head () for supplying the coating while rotating the spray head () around an axial line (O). The spray head () has a first coating diffusion part () having a curved surface with a convex shape towards the axial line (O) on the inner peripheral surface, and a second coating diffusion part () extending to an outer edge () of the opening end on the large diameter side having a curved surface with a concave shape towards the axial line (O) with grooves () on the outer edge ().

Rotary atomizing coating device and spray head

An electrostatic painting apparatus includes a painting gun having at one end thereof a paint spray section, and a connection section detachably connectable to an external paint supply section for receiving a supply of paint from the supply section and supplying the received paint to a paint storage section that stores and supplies the supplied paint to the painting gun. The connection section is surrounded and protected by a peripheral wall, so that paint can pass by the other end of the painting gun without reaching the connection section. Consequently, the connection section can be prevented from being undesirably smeared with the paint.
