A dental treatment apparatus includes a handpiece holding a cutting tool in its head, a drive portion driving the cutting tool held by the head, and a control portion controlling the drive portion in accordance with a drive sequence. The drive sequence includes at least one forward rotation drive for rotating the cutting tool in a cutting direction to cut a treatment portion and at least one reverse rotation drive for rotating the cutting tool in a non-cutting direction. Under the control of the drive portion in accordance with the drive sequence, a cumulative amount of rotation which is an accumulation of an amount of rotation in forward rotation drive and an amount of rotation in reverse rotation drive does not exceed a set value at any time point.

Dental treatment apparatus and method of driving the same

A dental treating apparatus according to the present invention includes: a hand piece; a head unit; a driving unit; a control unit; a load specifying unit; and a load comparing unit. The hand piece drivably holds a cutting tool on the head unit. The driving unit drives the cutting tool in a normal rotation direction or in a reverse rotation direction. The load comparing unit compares a load detected and a reference load. During a normal rotation period until driving for rotating the cutting tool in the normal rotation direction by the driving unit satisfies a predetermined first condition, the control unit maintains a rotation direction of the cutting tool in the normal rotation direction, and when a result of comparison by the load comparing unit attains a predetermined result during the normal rotation period, the control unit controls the rotation direction to the reverse rotation direction.

Dental treating apparatus and driving method for the same

A dental treating apparatus according to the present invention includes: a hand piece; a head unit; a driving unit; a resistor for load detection; a load comparing unit; and a control unit. The hand piece drivably holds a cutting tool on the head unit. The driving unit drives the cutting tool in a normal rotation direction or in a reverse rotation direction. The resistor for load detection detects a load applied to the cutting tool. The load comparing unit compares the detected load and a reference load each time driving for rotating the cutting tool in the reverse rotation direction by a predetermined rotation angle is performed. The control unit controls the driving unit based on a result of comparison by the load comparing unit.

Dental treating apparatus

The present invention is directed to a dental treating apparatus including: a hand piece; a power source (micro motor); a driving unit (motor driver); and a controller. The driving unit drives the cutting tool so as to be switchable between first driving in which the cutting tool is driven clockwise and second driving in which the cutting tool is driven counterclockwise. When a rotation direction in which the cutting tool cuts an object to be cut is defined as normal rotation and a rotation direction opposite to the normal rotation is defined as reverse rotation, the controller sets the first driving as driving for the normal rotation when a first cutting tool rotated clockwise is held on the head unit, and sets the second driving as the driving for the normal rotation when a second cutting tool rotated counterclockwise is held on the head unit.

The present invention is directed to a dental treating apparatus including: a hand piece; a power source (micro motor); a driving unit (motor driver); a driving state detecting unit (resistor for load detection, root canal length measuring circuit); and a controller. The hand piece drivably holds a cutting tool on a head unit. The power source drives the cutting tool. The driving unit drives the cutting tool with twist driving in which the normal rotation and the reverse rotation are repeated. The driving state detecting unit detects a driving state of the cutting tool. The controller changes at least one parameter of a rotation angle in the normal rotation, a rotation angle speed in the normal rotation, a rotation angle in the reverse rotation, and a rotation angle speed in the reverse rotation in accordance with the driving state of the cutting tool detected by the driving state detecting unit.

An object of the preset invention is to provide a medical lighting apparatus capable of illuminating an affected part with proper illuminance while assuring a work space for an operator near the affected part. A medical lighting apparatus for irradiating an affected part with light includes: a light source (a light emitting element); a light condenser (a collimate lens and a condenser lens) for condensing light emitted from the light source; an image forming unit (an image lens) for forming an image on the affected part from the light condensed by the light condenser; and an aperture portion provided between the light condenser and the image forming unit and regulating passage of the light condensed by the light condenser.

A diagnostic imaging apparatus of hand piece type suitable for medical or dental use, comprising a main body held by operator's fingers, a luminous means for irradiating at least one of lights selected from excitation light, infrared light and ultraviolet light, and an imaging means provided in a forward portion of the main body.
