A motor control device includes a motor drive circuit including an upper arm and a lower arm, an arithmetic processor to control the motor drive circuit, an alternative circuit that can operate as a substitute to replace the arithmetic processor, and a mode switch to switch a control mode between a first control mode, in which the arithmetic processor controls the motor drive circuit, and a second control mode, in which the alternative circuit controls the motor drive circuit, based on a state of the arithmetic processor. The mode switch switches the control mode from the first control mode to the second control mode when a state of the arithmetic processor changes from a normal state to an abnormal state.

One aspect of an inverter device of the present disclosure includes a capacitor module having a capacitor element and a capacitor case that houses the capacitor element, and a housing having a housing space for housing the capacitor module. The housing includes a wall portion that is provided with a flow path through which a refrigerant flows and a first opening portion that allows a part of the flow path to open toward the housing space. The capacitor case includes a heat transfer portion that is made of metal and configured to cover the first opening portion. The refrigerant flows between an inner wall surface of the first opening portion and the heat transfer portion.

Inverter device, motor unit, and vehicle

A capacitor module that smooths a voltage of an inverter circuit includes a supply assembly including a connection terminal to the inverter circuit, an alternating-current assembly including a capacitor and a first bus bar, and a direct-current assembly including a second bus bar connecting a DC power source and the supply assembly. The alternating-current assembly and the direct-current assembly are side by side in a plan view and one side view of the capacitor module, and are arranged with the side surfaces thereof opposing each other in an opposite side view. The supply assembly is located inside an outer peripheral region collectively surrounding both the alternating-current assembly and the direct-current assembly in the plan view.

Capacitor module, inverter module, and motor unit

A circuit board includes a circuit board main body including a first through hole and a second through hole, a first inlay member inserted into the first through hole, and a second inlay member inserted into the second through hole. A first end surface of the first inlay member includes a first end portion on the side of the second inlay member, a second end portion on the opposite side of the second inlay member, a first area including the first end portion, and a second area including the second end portion. A first end surface of the second inlay member includes a third end portion on the side of the first inlay member, a fourth end portion on the opposite side of the first inlay member, a third area including the third end portion, and a fourth area including the fourth end portion. The circuit board further includes a first resist provided in the second area, and a second resist provided in the fourth area.

Circuit board, motor, controller, and electric pump

A circuit board includes a circuit board main body including a first through hole, and a first inlay member inserted into the first through hole. The first inlay member includes a first end surface, one surface of the circuit board main body includes a first through hole peripheral portion located around the first through hole, a first conductive pattern is located around the first through hole peripheral portion, the first through hole peripheral portion includes a first pattern exposed area where the first conductive pattern is exposed, and a first pattern non-exposed area where the first conductive pattern is covered with a resist, and the first end surface and the first pattern exposed area are a first mount pad to which a first terminal of an electronic component is connected.

An inverter control device to drive a motor includes a power module that supplies a driving current to the motor. The inverter control device further includes a power module board that outputs a driving signal to the power module, a control board that outputs a control signal to the power module board, and a smoothing capacitor. The power module, the power module board, the capacitor, and the control board are sequentially stacked and accommodated in a single casing made of a metal material, the power module being a bottommost layer. An input terminal of a power supply current is located on one side surface of the casing and an output terminal of a driving current of the motor is located on another side surface of the casing orthogonal to the one side surface, and the output terminal and a bus bar connected to the power module are directly connected to each other in a same plane.

Inverter control device

An inverter control device to drive a motor includes high-voltage circuitry that receives a power supply current and a power controller that supplies a driving current to a motor. The inverter control device further includes a first input terminal on a front surface portion of a casing of the high-voltage circuitry, a second input terminal on a power module in the power controller, and a first output terminal on a front surface portion of a casing of the power controller. Out of bus bars that electrically connect the first input terminal and the second input terminal to each other, a thickness of a bus bar on the first input terminal side is thicker than a bus bar on the second input terminal side.

An electronic control unit includes a controller configured to interrupt a failsafe relay for a predetermined time period while an external load, such as an electric servo motor, is in a non-operating state and to perform a diagnosis of a short-circuit fault, which may occur at a load power supply line, based on a difference between a first voltage applied to a positive power supply line and a second voltage applied to the load power supply line.

Electronic control unit

A system for controlling an electric device comprises: a power supply for supplying electric power to an electric device; switch portion connected between the power supply and the electric device for controlling the electric power supplied to the electric device; an LC filter disposed between the switch portion and the electric device; and current detection portion for detecting an electric current supplied to the electric device.
