A photoconductor for electrophotography including a conductive substrate, an undercoat layer provided on the conductive substrate, and a photosensitive layer provided on the undercoat layer and a manufacturing method thereof. The undercoat layer contains metallic oxide fine particles and is formed by applying a coating liquid for the undercoat layer onto the conductive substrate. The coating liquid contains an organic solvent having a boiling point at 1&times;10 Pa of about 160&deg; C. or less and a viscosity at 20&deg; C. of about 3.0 mPa.s or more. This improves dispersion stability of metal oxide fine particles in the coating liquid to realize a uniform undercoat layer and, in turn, provides the photoconductor with uniform electrophotographic characteristics, in particular, with uniform image characteristics and external appearance characteristics.

An output circuit including an input inverting buffer circuit, and an output transistor circuit controlling a voltage of an output terminal by a current flowing therein. A control terminal of the output transistor is coupled to an output of the buffer circuit and to a current divider. The current divider is controlled by a voltage level of the output terminal and diverts current flowing from the output of the buffer circuit to the output transistor. The output circuit reduces overcurrent that flows at a rise of a voltage level of an output terminal, and thereby prevents a ground voltage level from floating up and noise from occurring.

A current source circuit has a current mirror circuit and a correct ion circuit. The current mirror circuit includes first to fourth transistors. The bases of the first and second transistors are commonly connected to each other. A collector of the third transistor is connected to a common base of the first and second transistors. An emitter of the third transistor is connected to an emitter of the fourth transistor. A base of the fourth transistor is connected to the collector of the first transistor. The correction circuit includes fifth to eighth transistors. The base of the fifth and sixth transistors are commonly connected to each other. An emitter of the seventh transistor is connected to the common base of the fifth and sixth transistors. A collector of the seventh transistor is connected to an emitter of the eighth transistor. A base of the eighth transistor is connected to the collector of the second transistor.

Current source circuit

An electrophotographic photoconductor includes a conductive substrate having a photoconductive film thereon. The photoconductive film includes a layer containing a charge transport agent and a phosphonite compound, which acts as an antioxidant. Preferably, the phosphonite compound is diarylarylphosphonite. The layer that contains the charge transport preferably contains from 0.005 to 10 weight % of diarylarylphosphonite. The diarylarylphosphonite is preferably a compound selected from the group consisting of bis(2,4-di-tert-butylphenyl)phenylphosphonite, bis(2,6-di-tert-butylphenyl)phenylphosphonite and bis(2,6-di-tert-butyl-4-methylphenyl)phenylphosphonite.

Electrophotographic photoreceptors including titanyloxyphthalocyanine

An analog multiplexer circuit comprising bipolar differential amplifying input circuits, an active load circuit, a selector circuit, an emitter-grounded circuit, and a switch circuit. Differential analog signals are supplied to each of the input circuits. The active load circuit functions commonly for the input circuits. The selector circuit selects one of the input circuits in accordance with a selection signal. The emitter-grounded circuit is used to output the differentially amplified signal generated by the differential amplifying circuit constituted by the selected input circuit and the active load circuit. The switch circuit is inserted between the active load circuit and one of the input circuits and is turned on and off by the selection signal. When the one of the input circuits is not selected, the switch circuit is off, thus electrically disconnecting the one of the input circuit from other input circuit. When the one of the input circuits is selected, the switch circuit is on, thus electrically connecting the one of the input circuit and the active load circuit.
