A rotor including a rotor core and magnetic pole parts provided therein is provided. Each magnetic pole part includes a fixed magnetic-force magnet of which a magnetizing direction is oriented in a radial direction, first variable magnetic-force magnets disposed radially outward of the fixed magnetic-force magnet on both sides thereof in a circumferential direction so that magnetizing directions are oriented in the circumferential direction, a first cavity part formed in the rotor core to extend between a position radially inward of the fixed magnetic-force magnet and a position radially inward of the first variable magnetic-force magnet, and a second cavity part formed in the rotor core to be separated radially outward from the first cavity part, and extend toward the first variable magnetic-force magnet in the circumferential direction from a position radially outward of a surface on a first variable magnetic-force magnet side of the fixed magnetic-force magnet side.

Rotor, rotary electric machine, and vehicle

A structure of a rotor changeable of a magnetic force is provided, which includes a rotor core and a plurality of magnetic pole parts disposed therein. Each magnetic pole part includes a radially-magnetized fixed magnetic-force magnet and a circumferentially-magnetized variable magnetic-force magnet. A cavity part is disposed between the fixed magnetic-force magnet and the variable magnetic-force magnet. The cavity part has a cross-section extending from an end part of the fixed magnetic-force magnet toward an opposing surface. The cavity part is formed so that a distance between the variable magnetic-force magnet and the cavity part in the circumferential direction becomes larger as the cavity part approaches the opposing surface, and a width of the cavity part in the circumferential direction becomes smaller as the cavity part separates from the fixed magnetic-force magnet in the radial direction.

Rotor structure

A rotor structure includes a rotor, a stator, and magnetic pole parts provided to a rotor core. Each magnetic pole part includes a radially-magnetized fixed magnetic-force magnet, an auxiliary fixed magnetic-force magnet disposed radially outward of the fixed magnetic-force magnet and radially magnetized in the same direction as the fixed magnetic-force magnet, and first variable magnetic-force magnets disposed at both sides of the fixed magnetic-force magnet in the circumferential direction. A magnetization state of the first variable magnetic-force magnets is changeable in the circumferential direction by a given magnetic flux. A cavity part is formed between the auxiliary fixed magnetic-force magnet and the first variable magnetic-force magnets in the circumferential direction to have a circumferential width at a position of the auxiliary fixed magnetic-force magnet in the radial direction narrower than a minimum width of a gap between the rotor core and a stator core.

Rotor structure of rotary electric machine

A control system for a movable body configured to move by utilizing a motor torque generated by a drive motor, is provided. The system includes the drive motor including a rotor configured to output a rotational force and provided with a variable-magnetic-force magnet, and a stator opposing the rotor with a gap therebetween and provided with a plurality of coils, a powertrain component provided so as to be associated with the drive motor, and a controller having a magnetization controlling module configured to control magnetizing current flowing through the coils so as to change a magnetic force of the variable-magnetic-force magnet. During a demagnetization control in which the magnetic force of the variable-magnetic-force magnet is reduced by the magnetization controlling module, the controller operates the powertrain component to suppress a decrease in a moving force applied to the movable body due to a decrease in the motor torque.

Control system for movable body

A motor control system configured to be mounted to a movable object that moves by using a drive motor, the motor control system comprising: a sensor configured to detect an output requested to drive the movable object; a battery configured to supply electric power to the drive motor; and circuitry configured to control the drive motor such that a requested amount of rotary power of the drive motor is output in a specified output range, the requested amount of the rotary power of the drive motor being set on the basis of a detection value of the output sensor.

Motor control system

A control system for a movable body configured to move by utilizing a motor torque generated by a drive motor, is provided. The system includes the drive motor including a rotor configured to output a rotational force and provided with a variable-magnetic-force magnet, and a stator opposing the rotor with a gap therebetween and provided with a plurality of coils. The device includes a powertrain component provided so as to be associated with the drive motor, and a controller having a magnetization controlling module configured to control magnetizing current flowing through the coils so as to change a magnetic force of the magnet. During a magnetization control in which the magnetic force of the magnet is increased by the magnetization controlling module, the controller operates the powertrain component to suppress an increase in a moving force applied to the movable body due to an increase in the motor torque.
